I'm visiting the UK Thursday next week. Hoping to get a iPhone 6S as they're not released in my country until later this month. Does anyone know about availability in London Apple Stores? Lines every morning?

Completely up to you in terms of the size models, don't know till you try, I had the plus on the 6 launch but swapped it back for a normal 6 and feels so much better. Go into store and try both

Good advice CK, how you getting on with your RG 6?

Get in the reservations buddy, best option!

So a saving of £61 if you had Applecare+ if that was to happen, again for some people I am sure the peace of mind is worth it, not for me to be honest
it isn't for me as a will upgrade every year and have never had any damage on my phone..I'm very careful and if it were to happy i'm covered through my insurance with the bank

Is that easy and flawless when not living in the UK? You're talking about reserving online on the Apple Store, right?

On another note, for people that already received theirs;
Have they fixed the issue where touch sometimes isn't sensed on the very edges of the screen, left and right?

I'm doing the same this year. Just found out that I could of reclaimed some of the cost of my AppleCare Plus from last year when I sold it? Didn't know that... By the way, I'm interested it what cases (if any) people are using. What are you using?

I've been using the Ringke this week. Great protection and cheap. I prefer the Apple leather care though but it doesn't protect the bottom of the phone.

+1 for the Ringke. I have it on my RG 6s. The tabs that go in the headphone and lightning openings are great.

Hey everyone, I've been following this thread (as I do every year) since the new 6S/6S+ was announced. I love to see everyone's excitement build as launch day gets closer and of course on launch day itself. I have never been quick enough/had the funds available at the right time to pre order for delivery on launch day. I usually end up being able to upgrade by end of October/beginning of November. This year I have decided to switch networks so have sold my gold 6 now to clear my fee for leaving EE early and to pay the £99 upfront cost to three which means I am currently using my old 4S which is taking a lot to get used to lol.
I am very excited now though as I have got a 64GB Rose Gold 6S on the way, estimated delivery is Tuesday 6th October. This is the closest to launch day I've ever upgraded, hopefully next year I will have the funds available to join you all for the launch day hype. :)
Lol why did you do that? You should have just waited for 7 instead of buying out your contract. How much are you paying three?

I actually just ran to a store and tried them both, 6S+ definitely is very similar in terms of usability and reachability of the screen to the OnePlus One. I can live with it but I'd rather not. But I don't want to sacrifice the chance of taking better videos and pictures.

So just ran to an Apple store since I live 10-min walk away from one, the 6s isn't really that small, and although it is possible to take pictures with one hand, chances are the photos taken are blurry and it might be best, like you said, to operate it with two hands. Reading texts, updates can be done with one hand in either devices. Although holding and scrolling the 6S+ with one hand feels 'scarier'. So, decision, decision.....

I've seen the video, and it is the primary reason of why I'm considering the 6S+. Although one thing I noticed from trying it in the store earlier is that 4K videos are less stable than 1080p ones. Video recording in 1080p definitely is "smoother", if that makes any sense. Is it because of the frame rate? Also you cannot really see a difference on playing 4k videos in 1080p-display phone right? The same goes for the 760p of the 6s. You need an external display that supports 4K to really see the quality difference.

A good point a user in another forum did make though is this:
"I have a theory on this. Maybe OIS is included on the 6 Plus because you're more likely to have a shaky hand holding the bigger device as opposed to the 6/6S and it happens to be convenient enough to be one of the reasons to justify the price difference."
I am kind of torn between the two

The 6S is large....but since I wanted to get an iPad for university....this means if i get the 6S Plus i don't need an iPad tbh as there would be no point.
Not sure if I should get the 6S and an iPad of 6S Plus

I had a 6 plus last year. It's not an iPad replacement in my opinion.

I only had 4 months to pay out. With three I paid £99 up front and £40 per month for 8GB data, 600minutes and unlimited text.

Just a thought,

I know that everyone's suggesting that people should at least get the 64gb version, but will 16gb + cloud storage be enough? Most large files in my phone are photos and videos which are synchronised daily to my dropbox.

Nvm the question sounds even more stupid every time I tried to think bout it

with EE?
Thats a good deal actually

are you getting discount with that?
I had four months to pay out on my EE contract which was £51 per month. My new deal is on Three, I'm not sure about discount, I rung them to see what they could offer me and they offered me that after I told them what I was currently getting from EE (500 mins, unlimited text and 4GB data for £51 which was the contract I started 2 years ago with my 5S). Last year I bought my 6 outright.

It's a nice case but I don't like the fact that the buttons are covered.
