Yeah, I hate the feel of TPU :(
I have been using it but for me is annoying in the hand...feels almost sticky

I'm using this one now as my case for good

Recently switched to O2 and I got to use visual voicemail for the first time today. What a great feature.
I was always on Three so never had access to it.

Hi all,

I purchased a 64gb iPhone 6S+ Gold from the Apple Store (Cov Garden) on launch day. I saw the Rose Gold variation for the first time today and definitely want to swap this out.

Two questions...

  1. Am I still able to exchange my current model for this new model?
  2. I understand stock is still limited in stores and I will need to reserve it from 6am tomorrow morning. What do you think my chances are of being able to reserve a 64gb Rose Gold 6S+ in any of the London stores tomorrow?
Cheers,

Dan

No, you can't exchange it directly, what you would need to do is get a reservation on the one you want and then go in, and they will refund the one you have and sell you the one you have reserved.

Yes it's a great feature. I had it with O2 until a couple of years back when I switched to EE. Luckily EE offered it too a while back so I have the use of it again. There is an app called HulloMail which offers it which I was using until EE got it but I prefer it as a built in feature.

Oh wow so how does this apple finance work?

You just apply online and its basically like a contract....? You apple monthly instead of the network? Is this better then getting it out on Vodafone?

It's like finance on anything. You pay what you are buying over a set term, with a 14.9%APR. This goes to Barclays/PayPal.

You then get hold of a sim only deal to your choice. Three / voda / EE whatever floats your boat and needs. You pay the sim monthly like a contract.

Basically you save on any over heads the company adds. Mine works out couple hundred pounds over the term. And if you can flog your phone at the end for a decent cash money price, you are at an even less loss.

As with any finance, as your asking questions, it will affect your credit, it will be a contract and read the terms. But also, take the Barclays finance. They have no minimal payoff period. So apple say...

are the apple silicon cases any good?

I love them personally. Perfect case for protection of scratches and drop protection. Ofcourse it's not 100% drop proof and the bottom of the iPhone is exposed but the phone if handled in case well will protect your phone. I've dropped it countless times and it's fine, I'm guessing this years cases are even better since I haven't dropped it yet so I'm not sure. I find they feel good in the hand and much better then the sticky feel that TPU gives off. Just have clean hands and you're fine.
