Mine took 3 days to get to me from China!

So if its coming straight from the factory it will probably take the same amount of time.

I can only presume it's coming from the factory. In which case, I guess delivery this week is unlikely which helps! I just wish their estimation could be a bit more specific but appreciate when they are literally still in production, it's hard!

I put £20 a month in a savings account. I had a set back last year as I had to shell out for a leaky roof. I used to upgrade every year but decided when I got the 5 I'd switch to 2 years. Setback last year means I've kept the 5 for an extra year.

Good in one way as it puts me on the S cycle which I prefer but not good in the fact my 5 won't sell for much of anything so I have nothing to put back into he savings account to start off for the next upgrade in two years. Whereas previously I had a few hundred from selling my previous phone to put right back into the savings.

That's precisely why I tend to upgrade every year. If you can afford the outlay for a new iPhone and will sell your old iPhone, then it actually makes sense financially to get rid of your old phone as soon as possible.

Let's say you upgrade every year:
New iPhone £600
Old iPhone worth £300
Upgrading costs £300

Now, if you upgrade every 2 years:
New iPhone £600
Old iPhone worth £180
Upgrading costs £420

Those figures are very rough estimates but you get the idea.

My beautiful saddle brown case was water stained last night by using it in a light drizzle of rain. Thought Apple would be quite good about replacing it and although they are happy to replace it, they are maintaining I have to send it back first! Essentially I have to leave my phone uncased whilst I await a replacement.

I spent 55 mins on the phone tonight waiting to speak to a manager to try and make them see sense and not just be policy junkies, but there was no manager available to speak to me.

Absolutely disgusted by the poor customer service. I've had phones and cases from Apple amongst other products, every year for the last 5 years and I'm not happy. I'm not prepared to leave my £699 phone unprotected just because they expect me to adhere to their policy!

Also, in my view I'm penalised for buying it online, as I am prevents from returning it to my local store and obtaining a replacement there and then.

I know it's just a case, and to be honest that's my issue. It's a simple case of replacing faulty goods! It shouldn't require me to wait on the phone for an hour to resolve nor should it need me to suffer due to their rigid policies. They have my card details, they have my phone number and they have my address. I'm not going anywhere so if I don't send the old case back they would be welcome to charge me for the replacement case.

As a matter of interest, where does Apple say the case is waterproof?

Most retailers would tell you to take a hike if you damaged an item and then tried to get it replaced under warranty. Apple are showing excellent service in doing a goodwill replacement.

Has anybody gotten the phone on a contract?

If yes how much are you paying? All the contracts seem to be sooo expensive!

The best I can find is the 6S 64GB with 6gb data for £42.30 but thats on Vodafone who I don't really want to be with!

I'm waiting for GiffGaff to get stock of the 6s+ as they sell them completely unlocked and you can put any sim in it. Ganna pay £200 upfront (selling my 5S to O2 recycle for £150 so only £50 upfront really), and the monthly loan payment goes down to about £20 something a month (can't remember exact numbers because you can't look at the payment options if the phone is out of stock). Add a Three £17 a month Sim Only with Unlimited data and I've got my 64gb 6s+ with unlimited data for about £40 a month....hopefully

Your right, but I didn't go swimming with it!

I was talking on the phone as it was raining, and it was more of a drizzle than rain. As a result the lower portion on the case suffered staining. My leather shoes fairs well, as did my leather belt but my leather phone case didn't.

If it's not suitable to use in the UK - Autumn/Winter/Spring and half of the Summer due to it raining maybe Apple should mention this.

You'll get around 11GB.

It's 12.5GB on my 5C with iOS9. I think with the 6S, particularly due to the upgraded camera, more than 16GB is necessary for most

If it's permanently stained after a small amount of contact with water, I'd be disappointed. That doesn't seem normal! Only chemicals should really stain leather. I'd expect the change in texture/consistency when exposed to water but that returns even smoother as it dries and receives wear over time. Got to remember leather is a natural material and will change over time! Usually for the better I feel.

I got the midnight blue leather case so hoping staining won't be an issue. Despite recent claims of the 6S being water resistant, I probably wouldn't be using my phone whilst it's raining anyhow, I'd remain worried about those pesky Apple moisture sensors!

My iPhone has changed this morning to 'preparing for despatch'. Hooray! Although judging from what Jurgen quoted, that means Saturday delivery which is great as I've sent it to my office... I guess I can get in touch with UPS and rearrange.

no change here for my 128GB Space Grey 6S+ with an estimated delivery day of the 9th to the 16th :(

It's with UK Mail actually, presumed it would be shipped UPS as they tend to deliver Apple items from the factory and Jurgens tracking photo on the previous page was in their colours. If it's UK Mail does it mean it's in the country?!

I think people were saying other stores had received big shipments of phones today which suggests that might the case, also I believe UK Mail only take over once it is in the UK, before then it's handled by an international courier. though I'm only basing that on my past experiences

just finance the phone through Apple, do it over 2 years and use a Three sim. Then you get unlimited GB data and go up contract according to needs, ie Minutes / more Texts..

Works out base Sim and finance on a 64GB 6S - £46.72 a month.

If you choose Barclays and not PayPal option, and are accepted, you can pay off early with no penalty. So after a year, if you choose to upgrade to the next iPhone, sell the year old, (pristine) 6S for a tidy sum, move up with no catch and no Network Supplier bloat of costs. Simples.:D

They are, I'm still waiting for my iPhone 6s Plus from Vodafone.

Very annoyed as they told me it would be release date, then slipped to between 1st and 8th and now they've now no idea.

Ordered on 27th September with est delivery 9th - 16th October.

Changed this morning to ' Preparing for dispatch '

You've probably already checked this, but uswitch comes up with...
O2 – £75 upfront – £39.00 pcm – 5GB
Vodafone – £100 upfront – £39.00 pcm – 6GB
...both through mobiles.co.uk, who are perfectly reputable. That's if you consider anything Dixons Carphone-related to be reputable. Recently got a 5S on a ridiculously cheap EE contract from them – literally 70% of the price that EE themselves were quoting – and it all above board, with none of that silly cashback nonsense.

Is that with Vodafone? I ordered on the 16th and still have no updates

Looks like Covent Garden just got a massive 6s+ delivery.
Yup. iStocknow was updated at 8.10 for both Covent Garden and Regent Street, so I reserved a 64GB Plus in Silver and also one in Space Gray. Got there at lunchtime to choose the colour and pick it up, and quite frankly it was very poor organisation. One line for all iPhone stuff... so; reservations, non reservations, faults. I had to queue for 30mins just to pay and get my hands on it.

Not impressed at all with the in-store experience that I have come to expect as very high over the years.

I've just had an email from Amazon about my 1p (delivered using Amazon Prime) case...

"Your package has been posted through your letterbox"

:D

[Edit] - Scrub that, it was actually my Ringke Fusion that arrived! :p

[Edit 2] - There is a £0.01 charge spending on my Amex card, so it looks like the deal is going through. :)

Must.Stop.Ordering.Cases...
Just got an email from amazon saying my 1p case has been dispatched.:)
