Has anyone ordered a 128gb 6S+ through O2 refresh? I have been waiting for two weeks now, and they have no idea when my handset will ship...

Colin

After spending the last few weeks using my 6S+, I used my 4S for the first time yesterday to prepare it to be sent off for selling. It's safe to say I will never be able to go back to a phone of that size again. It felt absolutely tiny, and it just felt so unusual having everything condensed again. Anybody who saw me using it yesterday would have thought I had never used a touchscreen before. >.<

On a separate note, had my first drop incident the other day. I had the phone in my pocket whilst on my bed, and it just slid right out and right off the bed, hitting the floor and wall. I've ordered a case and screen protector now. Thankfully there was no damage to it, so I haven't had to learn the hard way!

Same here. I had to use my 4 last night for something and it was such a strange experience. Didn't think using it would become so alien so quickly.

I was having issues getting one and was told by the mate, he is the manager in 02 that that head office cannot give them a date to when they are getting them in as they don't even know.

Ended up getting the iP6s+ 64gb on refresh. Unlimited calls, text and 20gb of data for £32 per month :)

Hi all,

I purchased a 64gb iPhone 6S+ Gold from the Apple Store (Cov Garden) on launch day. I saw the Rose Gold variation for the first time today and definitely want to swap this out.

Two questions...

  1. Am I still able to exchange my current model for this new model?
  2. I understand stock is still limited in stores and I will need to reserve it from 6am tomorrow morning. What do you think my chances are of being able to reserve a 64gb Rose Gold 6S+ in any of the London stores tomorrow?
Cheers,

Dan

just finance the phone through Apple, do it over 2 years and use a Three sim. Then you get unlimited GB data and go up contract according to needs, ie Minutes / more Texts..

Works out base Sim and finance on a 64GB 6S - £46.72 a month.

If you choose Barclays and not PayPal option, and are accepted, you can pay off early with no penalty. So after a year, if you choose to upgrade to the next iPhone, sell the year old, (pristine) 6S for a tidy sum, move up with no catch and no Network Supplier bloat of costs. Simples.:D
Oh wow so how does this apple finance work?

You just apply online and its basically like a contract....? You apple monthly instead of the network? Is this better then getting it out on Vodafone?

i managed to get a gold 128gb 6s+ next day saturday delivery just gone, ordered on friday lunch time online.

Yup. iStocknow was updated at 8.10 for both Covent Garden and Regent Street, so I reserved a 64GB Plus in Silver and also one in Space Gray. Got there at lunchtime to choose the colour and pick it up, and quite frankly it was very poor organisation. One line for all iPhone stuff... so; reservations, non reservations, faults. I had to queue for 30mins just to pay and get my hands on it.

Not impressed at all with the in-store experience that I have come to expect as very high over the years.
Wow thought it was just me who thought that!
Had my laptop repaired there and wasn't impressed at all....they almost tried to rush me so they could see other customers and I didn't find them friendly at all...

How good is the Speck Candy shell grip case....costs £20 on Amazon so want to make sure its worth the price!

I did this yesterday. You're getting the phone on credit (finance) so you pay for the phone monthly plus 14.9% Apr.

Well, I have a 6 Plus and have been tempted since launch to the 6s Plus. Finally bit the bullet and ordered directly from Apple tonight.
I just hope the handset arrives before the suggested 2-3 week wait as the site suggests.

I do it every year at launch so when the new one arrives I've normally paid the previous one off or have one final payment.
It works well for me as I don't have to deal with the network trying to screw me on the price of the phone.

From my recent experience, I think you should get your phone on the 9th. Mine was preparing for dispatch this morning and I just received a text telling me it will be delivered tomorrow which is the first day they suggested it would be. Very pleased!
