It's guaranteed. Last year for the 6 I did the same in the gold. Turned up at 17:00 walked right it showed my email and they said we have it waiting for you in the back. Was a good experience

I reserved 4 on two different Apple IDs as I realised I won't make the first time slot. I hope that they don't cancel my reservations.

I don't know what to do with my online order.

I ordered two iPhones, and now want to cancel them. How do I do it? It doesn't five me the option in the order status

You need to wait until the next delivery stage. No-one can cancel or even change address yet.

Wait a while, and you'll be able to cancel. I need to cancel too, I've reserved mine.

Wasn't much fun either via the web. Took 20 minutes to go to the payment gateway as it kept timing out. I started my upgrade at 7:55 and was done by 08:35. It put me in a queue to start with for 2 minutes.

That's a good point. Not sure what made me think the servers wouldn't be under a bit of stress (which I experienced at the end of my process with the one off payment).

My online order just shows this :

Anyone else the same? Normally it used to go to processing instantly!

Also maybe worth noting that on the completion page for O2 it says it will be 25th if ordered today, seems like a bold statement.

What happens next?
We've sent you an email with your order details.

You have ordered Apple iPhone 6s 64GB Space Grey.

Pre-order yours today and you'll get it on 25 September

Think o2 have probably stocked up in prep. Hear a lot about their good relations with Apple, so if you're an existing customer and ordered first thing, can't see us being disappointed.

I think there will be stock on Saturday for "No Shows" on Friday.

Also people who have reserved more than they need. It will go back in stock for Saturday reservations.

Judging by how much stock they have had and everyone seems like they have got what they wanted for the 25th. There will be loads of stock coming in to stores throughout October.

I just checked on Quidco, it's for new customers only. Alas, I am not :(

Yeh i saw that, i also saw other options for £70 pounds and £80 pounds, so i'm just going to try a manual cash back form that somebody suggested, no harm in trying!

It was doing that to me - Apple have changed the password strength requirements which is what the update is all about. I ended up resetting my password through the 'Forgot your password?' option and then logging in with my new password. Got in with no problems after that.

thanks, i was having the same problem. I updated the password and its allowed me to reserve. Now i need to decide whether to go for a 6s+ or 6s

Anyone who is still yet to receive their confirmation email(s) like me:

Is your Apple Pay email address different to your Apple ID?

I've just realised that my orders are associated with Apple ID 1 and my correspondence email address is Apple ID 2.

Maybe that's why our emails have been delayed?

Just ordered Saddle Brown Case for mine as I sold my midnight blue leather with my 6 plus a couple of weeks back. Still have my silicone grey case but it's always nice to start a fresh!

Getting prepared for the new phone already! I have the iOS 9.1 beta on my current 6 Plus, and my question is if i have an iCloud backup of my current phone (iOS 9.1) can I restore the files to my new 6S Plus (9.0 presumably)? Basically are iCloud backups independent of the iOS version? I want to keep files like messages and photos but ideally on a fresh install, and not from a full iTunes backup!
