Well I've pre-ordered but from the looks of it I've done it the daft way.

I started a chat session with o2 at 7:55am. Didn't think to process the order via the website and expected the phones to be busy. My God was the agent slow in chat (if still extremely helpful). Didn't process the order until 9:15am. I mean COME ON !! HOW LONG DID THAT TAKE!!

Was so frustrating. So much legal blurb to reply 'yes' to. Long pauses in-between each chat submission. I was asked about half a dozen times if I wanted to proceed with the order and another set of legal copy was chucked in my direction. What was I thinking?

"Thanks, I know it’s a lot of information but we are nearly done now" - I had to LOL at this and just accepted the fate of my decision.

At the end of it all I had to click on the link and pay the upfront cost etc to 'check out' and agree to more legal blurb. Had a meltdown when the o2 payment site crashed. Literally felt like eating my way through the computer with my face of rage.

I guess he provisionally 'saved' the phone for me at the start of the call. Still, he stated that the 25th September is an estimate (not sure if this is o2 covering themselves). My final order confirmation does state that I'll get my phone on the '25th' so I guess I should accept that as the likely day of delivery.

At least now I can chill.

6s Plus
128Gb
Space Grey

COME AT ME BRO

Wasn't much fun either via the web. Took 20 minutes to go to the payment gateway as it kept timing out. I started my upgrade at 7:55 and was done by 08:35. It put me in a queue to start with for 2 minutes.

Still no emails after over an hour.

So decided to reserve another for Covent Garden in case they don't go through.

Not the colour I wanted, but there we go!
ok. I’ve done the same as you now. Tired of waiting for email and I was unsure of the rose gold that I first ordered anyway so I’ve gone for the silver instead .
Pick up on the 25th 18:30 White City :)

+1. You have to go to the website via quidco as it will track your order and cashback by that method. Joining afterwards is pointless as it would not have tracked your order.

My email came through pretty much instantly, the time on the email is marked as 8.06. I ordered using the iPhone app.

Says as the first T&C that its for new customers only? I assume new O2 customers? Is that right?

Pre-ordered with O2, they only had a stock of 2 rose gold 128GB's in my local store so glad I got there early...

It's so infuriating! Haha

I had to put my order through as two separate orders as the App would only let me order one phone at a time.

No email still, but transaction showing in the Apple Pay wallet thing.

And in the order status the orders and order numbers are showing.

Fingers crossed.
Yeah, what the deal. Was anyone able to add 2 phones in a single order. I was rushing so had to place separate orders. Both in app and i
On website

I reserved an additional 2 for later pick up as I had a horrible feeling I wouldn't make it by 7pm.

The question is should I cancel my online order? I still feel like personal pick-up is a bit of a gamble.

Tired to upgrade phones on 3 and EE as well but their sites couldn't handle it but no problem I have my order and reservations.

I had my order completed by 08:05 by calling EE. Managed to get a 64 GB iPhone 6s for £260 upfront and £32 per month. Unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, and 5 GB of data. Couldn't be happier.

Not sure. I would pay sim free. And get a cheap sim only contract

It seems rose gold is the best seller as delivery has slipped on those models.

Also Space Gray 64GB is unavailable in Meadowhall store now glad i got mine reserved!!

I think Apple have allocated a number of phones in all colours and sizes to each store!! Once they are gone they are gone!

But what interests me is have Apple stopped the queueing/camping outside stores this year??

I can imagine someone queuing up all night and when doors open Apple will say "have you got a reservation". Errm no.

Also maybe worth noting that on the completion page for O2 it says it will be 25th if ordered today, seems like a bold statement.

What happens next?
We've sent you an email with your order details.

You have ordered Apple iPhone 6s 64GB Space Grey.

Pre-order yours today and you'll get it on 25 September

Other than getting the new colour I wouldn't have got other wise. Nothing wrong with my current gold 6

You actually can, as when one of my friends signed up to a contract with iPhone 6 earlier this year,I told him about quidco afterwards and suggested he just signed up and tried a manual cash back claim.

So just signed up, then go to the O2 page and click 'visit retailer & gain cashback' - I think it's then 24 or 48 hours you'll have to wait before you can go on and do a manual cashback claim, saying that your cashback didn't track :). You may as well try!

I'll be interested in this too as I have quidco but not used for ages.

It was doing that to me - Apple have changed the password strength requirements which is what the update is all about. I ended up resetting my password through the 'Forgot your password?' option and then logging in with my new password. Got in with no problems after that.

Thanks for that. I made an order for delivery but as I'm away that day I wanted to receiver for a Saturday pickup too. They only seem to offer Friday at the moment. Probably a good thing too as for last years launch I got lucky and revered for a Saturday pickup and got there for 8am. I knew of others on here who had revered at that store too but when i got there they only had one left (which I got), but others must have been left disappointed that day. Ah well I guess i'll have to go with the delivery. Set it up to my parents as they are always in. Now just to tell then to expect it :p . and some pre emptive flowers for my mum as a thank you :)

Here's my confirmation mail!
