Had my MacBook and iPad fired up for 0755. Kept refreshing both till 0808. Then thought " try my iPhone " , opened the app and was in straight away.
Ordered 6s silver 64GB. Tried to pay with Apple pay, that throw a wobbler over the shipping and billing address.
Then I canceled the order and started agin, this time selecting other payment. That went smooth as silk, order placed at 0813, conformation email marked as 0838.
Not sure if that was the time it was sent or if that was the time my phone picked it up.

If you want to trade in an old iPhone is it better to reserve and collect in store or pre-order online?

Hello everyone! Nice to see so many of you have successfully got your orders in, congrats and well done! To those of you who have yet to receive your confirmation emails, I feel your pain! I ordered my iPhone 6S+ in Rose Gold 128GB through the iPhone App, because it was the first place I could gain access to preorder, I had my order number confirmed and I think that was around 8:05, but no email came instantly the way I have always been accustomed to when ordering with Apple. When I logged in to check my order it shows my order number and says that my order was received and almost three hours later I still hadn't received that email! So I decided to give Apple a call, although it's an automated system, it is incredibly helpful and gave me that reassurance I had been desperately seeking! The number is 08000480408. I was asked to say what I was calling about, I simply said 'I have not yet received my order confirmation email' I was then asked to provide my order number and then to give my billing mobile number for security purposes, which I did and then I had my order confirmed as being processed and asked to confirm my email address is correct and once I did that the confirmation email arrived seconds laters and it confirmed my order and stated that it was being processed and for delivery on the 25th! So yaaay! However, when I'm log in and view my orders online it still just says it has been received with no other information but I have the email finally which I think is sufficient enough! If anyone is still concerned about lack of email and being processed status, give them a call and get your email sent out ASAP!

You don't need a screen protector.

+1 after using my iPhone 6 without one for the last year, I have one scratch that is very hard to see unless the screen is off and you're directly under sunlight. This doesn't affect resale value much and it's either perfect to sell to a family member or a recycling company.

The scratch is also like 1mm

Or just look after your stuff ;)

I've never had a screen protector on a phone. It's ridiculous.

Been shopping!!

There are still a lot of phones (not the Rose Gold Model) available for in store pick ups if people are still looking and maybe willing to travel.

It's been a tough decision for me earlier, But I decided to go for the PLUS.
- Larger Battery Life
- Bigger Screen + Higher Resolution
- Serve as a mini-tablet since I do not have any tablet device (only phone+laptop)

Only downside is losing one hand capabilities & potentially having to put it away in your pocket.

I've never or tried had a large screen "Phablet" device before and coming from a Samsung S4 which have larger screens than the standard 6s I think the PLUS is worth a try.

Also I can switch under the apple returns policy as someone pointed out earlier in the thread if I do feel uncomfortable with the larger size phone.

I didn't really look after it tho, just use it and enjoy your phone and if you do get a scratch it's so minuscule. The glass tech has improved so much since the 3GS/4/4S.

Great choice. I love my 6 Plus and you just get used to the bigger size. Battery is verging on Terminator level.
