What are people's experiences of reserving and picking up on the day from the Apple Store? Got two SG 6S+ 64gb pre-ordered but then managed to get two of the same reserved from Covent Garden on the 25th.
Just want to check the store service is reliable before cancelling the preorder...! Would rather have them in hand etc.
Wonder if they will bring digital touch from the watch to the iPhone
Did my pre order thru the app at 0845 this morning - ordered a 64GB space gray iphone 6s (got a 6 plus now but size is too big for me), says delivery to most place on 25/9 (sounds very general). Anyone knows how I can edit the shipping address? Can't seem to do it on the website and app.

I had my laptop open to Apple's web site as well as the Apple store app open on both my iPhone and iPad. I keep refreshing the site and closing/re-opening the apps and got in on the app on my iPhone at 8:03. I managed to place an order for a 6s Plus 128GB Gold using ApplePay but when I checked my order after wards it showed my name but the address, phone number and email address was for my work. Even stranger the last four digits of the card were different and not one of my cards. I have no idea how that happened as I don't use my work details for my Apple account, cards or ApplePay.
I started getting worried so placed a second order using the app on my iPad and using the other payment method rather then ApplePay and luckily went through with the right address and card details. I was concerned about the first order having the wrong details and a credit card that wasn't mine so I called Apple customer service only to be told by a recorded message they open at 9:00. So I called back at 9:00 and even the customer service rep was baffled by what had happened and couldn't explain it. Anyway I cancelled that order as it had the wrong details and I had already made a second order with the right ones.
I also hadn't got a confirmation email by then and mentioned it to the rep. She told me sometimes they can be delayed if the site is really busy. Anyway she manually sent me a confirmation email. All in all it wasn't as smooth an experience for me as in the past but at least I got the phone I wanted with the 25th delivery confirmation.
P.S. Any one who wants to cancel an online order there is no option on the site yet but you can call up customer service and they will do it for you. It just takes a while for your account to update with the cancellation.
Oh yes! Bring it onI know... to think that we were tracking watch confirmation times to the second, and matching to delivery weeks was quite absurd and obsessive. Looking forward to doing it again![]()
The last four digits is the device account number not the last four digits of the card.
Check Wallet and Apple Pay settings on your iPhone it will show it there. You will also be able to fix your billing address for Apple Pay.

you would think looking at the sheer number of comments on the UK threads compared to the others we should get our apple products first as we care more![]()
