I will be interested to see how Apple's improved the 6s as I switched to Android a couple of years ago after being an iOS user since the iPhone 3G. I just wasn't impressed anymore.

I'll still have multiple phones - that's just me :p
 
Was there anyone who managed to get Apple Pay in the app to work? Read a few pages back some people had problems, i thought it was just my card issuer but seems there was a genuine problem?

Had to go with alternative payment method - wasn't a bother, just gave up on apple pay straight away as I didn't want to F about, still on for 25/9 delivery!
 
Still not received the confirmation email. Anything to worry? The orders have moved to processing though.
 
I feel very uneasy cancelling my online order and waiting for my in store reservation.

I suppose I have no need to be concerned but it seems too good to be true just walking into store on release day
and collecting the phone without any hassle...

Are you able to cancel your online order? Mine says processing but there's no option to cancel.

Mine went through fine with apple pay. I was surprised that it used my billing address as my shipment address as they are different on my apple account, but the billing address is my parents and they'll be in to sign for it so i just went with it to get the order placed. By the sounds of it apple pay addresses are different and can be changed via passbook, (not tried myself yet).

Worked fine for me, launch day delivery confirmed.

Let's all just imagine that Apple are trolling us with the delivery date on 25th, and they'll actually be delivered next Friday on the 18th :)

Worked for me. Initially got the address error, realised it was showing my work address not my home address so touched the address and was presented with the 3 addresses I have for me - home, work, hotel - touched home then tried again and it went straight through.

It wouldn't work for me - refused to accept my shipping address despite having no problems with using the same address as my billing address. I've checked it carefully and I can't see anything obviously wrong, and it all agrees to the information tied to my account details. From a quick look on social media, plenty of others had problems too.

Eventually ordered for collection in store on the morning of 25 September instead.
 
Was ordering smooth for everyone?
It was fairly straight forward though order process was not available until 8.04am. Asked me to confirm address and took my payment details. Only thing I am missing is the confirmation email, but status of my order is moved to processing.

Guys is it normal no money has been frozen on my account?
From my Apple Watch experience it appears that my previously used card was not pre-authorised and money only taken 2 days before delivery a few hours before status changed to dispatched.
 
Right so correct me if I am wrong but the next stage is seeing when the iPhone goes onto our support profile. Getting the serial number and then putting it into a website to see which factory and when our future iPhone was made.

Yeah, if memory serves the hold comes a couple days before shipping.

Make sure your shipping address matches exactly. Things like Court instead or Ct. can trip it up.

That happened to me with AmEx. I called them and asked how my street was listed in their system and they had Ave without the period and that would trip up ApplePay. Other credit cards had no problems with that difference.

Same here. It would feel easier if there was a place to check on my account rather than just the email.
