Had a good look in the store. Got to say im not happy about how the Pros look (ugly) and feel (cheap). The Air just stands out reminiscent of the way Apple used to design these things. Looks and feels more premium than the Pro.
Having said that, I think demoing the phones in the store cemented my decision to just wait until the Fold. That truly will be a revolutionary new iPhone. Note I said new iPhone.

I agree. Air is the most premium looking out of the phones this year. By a landslide

DPD arrived here just now. iPhone 17Pro in silver/256GB plus clear case. AirPods Pro 3. When I asked Tam the delivery driver if he was busy his reply was “everybody and his granny are getting iPhones delivered today”! Now to set mine up………

It's arrived. 17 PM silver/white. It's actually really nice in person, definitely an industrially-designed bit of kit. Feels like a proper machine.

I daresay it actually feels a tiny, tiny bit *lighter* in the hand than the 16 PM? Probably just a slightly improved hand feel but worth noting.

Yeah!! I got into the WiFi screen and rather than connecting to WiFi I connected to my other phones hot spot

The phone to phone (via WiFi) went really well, even the EE eSIM transfer went over with no issues.

I just need to sort out the banking apps and I am good to go with my new Air.

thanks for the tip. I had AirPods Pro 3 on order from amazon saying 'order received'. Cancelled that, ordered again and it's coming today

Likewise, very disappointed they didn't arrive today. Very poor for Amazon pre-orders

N.Ireland based poster, still no sign of anything from DHL’s ‘third party partner.’ Really unimpressed with how this was handled, especially marking it as delivered hours ago on DHL’s end even though it’s just been handed over to some other random company.

NI based also, and have the same 'third party partner' message on the tracker. fingers crossed we all get our devices today

Yeah!! I got into the WiFi screen and rather than connecting to WiFi I connected to my other phones hot spot

You can then turn off your hot spot when you get passed the log in screen and on the restore from iCloud screen, this will then let you chose your WiFi again! Mine stayed on estimating time for a while before changing, mine currently says time remaining 15 mins

i had three items today delivered by DPD around 12 not the phone though unfortunatly thast still with DHL not turned up, but airpods and a strap and watch and i could see where they were on the map this was around 12. maybe they have turned it off now like DHL

Well out of nowhere and being explicitly told on phone by DpD it’s not being delivered today, guy in a car pulls up and delivers this. I think it’s just been so busy guy on way home getting some overtime as he went to other houses in street.
