My situation seemed a bit different, as I was able to bypass all the settings from restoring from a Mac backup.Might be asking the obvious here but how do you turn WiFi off? I’m on the iCloud sign in screen getting this error message, but unable to pull down from the control centre etc to turn WiFi off
Should be if it’s DOA, all they need to do is try to turn it on, see that it doesn’t and hand you a new one…Went online to book a genius bar appointment but nothing until wednesday!

I’m assuming you already tried the recovery mode and then running it through MacBook?It's completely unresponsive mate.

Anyone else having problems setting up their 17 Pros? I am trying to set mine up using my old iPhone 15 Pro and when I try to log in to my new phone during setup - I am getting a "verification failed" message when entering my Apple account password. I've tried various times and it always fails. Getting a little peed off now, and haven't had my evening meal yet!!

Seems a lot of people with this issue - try turn off / on the phone - decline the offer to setup with another phone, when you get to the wifi selection screen connect to your old phones hot spot, this got me past this page, then I could continue to next page when I could restore from iCloud.Anyone else having problems setting up their 17 Pros?
