Used the hotspot trick as mentioned upthread. Seems to be working now.You try just holding power button to restart phone? That worked for me
Odd how using WiFi is causing it to crash.
Mine just turned up about 15 minutes ago - couldn't really see the type of car. good luck to all other NI recipients
Wired transfer from old phone took nearly 3 hours, but worked 
EE eSIM transfer not so… followed the prompts to move number to new phone, stuck on Activating for about half an hour and failed.
Tried again using the app and QR code, same result…
It was last year or the year before I had the same issue… trip to an EE store first thing tomorrow, and if they do the same as last time, they’ll give me a physical sim with my number, and then convert to eSIM on the phone itself.
The concept of eSIM only phones is appealing, but my experience transferring between phones over the years with EE has been very hit and miss.

Both 17 pro and watch 3 set up relatively stress free this year, 400gb of songs downloaded in an hour, transfer worked well, eSIM shifted over easily. So the process worked
The Milanese loop was a waste of money, and I am not seeing much difference in 16 vs 17 pro, the liquid class isn't great on watch. But overall am very happy.

mine showing the same.
Tracking shows package at delivery location and then package at depot, both at the same time, guessing driver ended shift then.
Not a million miles from you and still waiting. Seems a shambles this year.
Agree - I saw them at Heathrow T5 this morning. Also, I understand the technical reason for going back to to aluminum I think but I definitely preferred SS or titanium from a design aesthetic.

Well it’s mainly going, verification kept failing so hotspotted it from old phone and worked. Only thing it then never offered me transfer option again so setting up from fresh, bit of a pain but we’ll get there. Vodafone eSIM transfer was flawless
That’s freaky! We’re still waiting. I guess we’ll be at the 10pm end as we’re a bit out in the sticks.
Yeah, DHL Parcel being taken over by Evri meant it was DHL Express this time round and they simply weren't prepared for it. Over 900 phones to deliver...
Yeah for real, looks like DHL had so many packages they had to bring in taxis. Did your order arrive?
Same here! Phone to phone this morning and only selective notifications are arriving (important ones are coming through, but nothing from Instagram or YouTube for example). Already resetted my network settings but that didn’t do anything (besides me having to restore all the settings by hand 😂). Glad I’m not alone with this though.
collected my 17 pro max and the wife’s gold air at 10.30 this morning. I’ve still not opened my pro max yet.
I’m so impressed by the air I think I may swap to it. Been to Apple Store this afternoon to have a look at them all and it was the black air that blew my socks off.
What I was surprised by was that the black tech woven case is lovely. Once the phone is in that case I can forget it’s not the nicest design underneath. But it is heavy and chunky.
Guy at Apple said he’d had 5 customers swap from pro to air today so seems I’m not the only one.
The novelty will probably wear off and I’ll miss the mega battery and cameras🫤
