I’m out near Lurgan so if people closer to Belfast are still waiting this late in the day I’m not holding out much hope.Where are you based? I’m near Nutts Corner and still waiting
Yeah same, can't imagine they'll be delivering to remote areas at night. I have been told any leftovers will be out first thing tomorrow but they assured me that all went out today had to be attempted to be deliveredI’m out near Lurgan so if people closer to Belfast are still waiting this late in the day I’m not holding out much hope.
So far so good here, but if anything lures me back it'll be the extra lenses on the Pro cameras.collected my 17 pro max and the wife’s gold air at 10.30 this morning. I’ve still not opened my pro max yet.
I’m so impressed by the air I think I may swap to it. Been to Apple Store this afternoon to have a look at them all and it was the black air that blew my socks off.
What I was surprised by was that the black tech woven case is lovely. Once the phone is in that case I can forget it’s not the nicest design underneath. But it is heavy and chunky.
Guy at Apple said he’d had 5 customers swap from pro to air today so seems I’m not the only one.
The novelty will probably wear off and I’ll miss the mega battery and cameras🫤
Was genuinely excited for the first time in years for iPhone and the delivery is a total screw up!I’m out near Lurgan so if people closer to Belfast are still waiting this late in the day I’m not holding out much hope.
I was worried about that but it was actually very simple. Asked on setup if i wanted to transfer my number and it was all automatic.Anyone on EE struggling with eSIM activation?
Is fine for me, says I have until 3rd of Oct.Can someone do me a favour please? go to their apple online account and select their new device then ''Check return eligibility'' - is it saying ''Your order is no longer eligible for return.''?

I had an absolute nightmare with eSIM transfer with EE last year. It required a couple of calls to customer service and it did take a while for them to resolve. However, prior to that I'd never had a problem with eSIM transfers on EE, certainly not with the phone. The cellular watch on the other hand has always been a problem with EE, for me anyway.Anyone on EE struggling with eSIM activation?
I’m not surprised. Air just looks so much better than the Pro’s. In fact it looks better than any iPhone… there I’ve said it.collected my 17 pro max and the wife’s gold air at 10.30 this morning. I’ve still not opened my pro max yet.

You are very welcome.Hmm, ok thanks. I'm not having much luck today.
Fair enough, horses for courses and whatnot.
PS: the Pro’s look like deformed cousins when next to the Air.
So strange, I went EE eSIM to EE eSIM… completed within 5 mins.Wired transfer from old phone took nearly 3 hours, but worked
EE eSIM transfer not so… followed the prompts to move number to new phone, stuck on Activating for about half an hour and failed.
Tried again using the app and QR code, same result…
It was last year or the year before I had the same issue… trip to an EE store first thing tomorrow, and if they do the same as last time, they’ll give me a physical sim with my number, and then convert to eSIM on the phone itself.
The concept of eSIM only phones is appealing, but my experience transferring between phones over the years with EE has been very hit and miss.
That's the beauty of a discussion forum and human beings being different, right? 😊
If its the icloud verification I had to disconnect WiFi and use hotspot through old phone. Only way it would work.
Well according to the members here, the consensus is that people are swapping out their Pro’s for the Air.Not to me they don’t. The Air looks like a prototype 😘
DHL Parcel (UK Mail) who it used to be merged with Evri and the contract was given to DHL Express for the first time and they haven't been prepared for it by the looks of itWas genuinely excited for the first time in years for iPhone and the delivery is a total screw up!
I don’t see how the number of deliveries is more than other years, yet on those years they generally managed.
In my view this is what happens when things get farmed out to the cheapest bidder who isn’t really running a delivery company as we know it.
