They found a solution to a problem that’s what matters the most at the end of the day. Well done to them for thinking outside the box, and gave the cabbies an extra income.Local taxi company, Value Cabs
Well I have no local taxis around me so doubt I will see anything tonightIt was a normal taxi. Looked like a local (Lisburn) taxi and not Value cabs /Fona
This whole scenario has been ridiculously messy and borderline shady. So the timeline for most of us in Northern Ireland has been;My iPhone Air just arrived via Taxi
Am just outside Lisburn Northern Ireland
Taxi driver said DHL was ‘in panic’ earlier and called the taxi company as they must have the phones delivered that day.
Sorry, are you actually saying that you still waiting for your order to arrive today?Well I have no local taxis around me so doubt I will see anything tonight

I’ve deleted from the previous iPhone as I sold itI thought eSIMS could be transferred between phones?
Or maybe that needs provider support?

I don’t know about O2, with giffgaff you just use the app and activate a new eSIM even of the old eSIM in the old phone still active, just worked after few mins.Does anyone know how to get a new eSIM from O2? Their contact center is closed. I deleted the eSIM from my old iPhone thinking that I could simply download it from the O2 app and use it in the new iPhone but apparently that eSIM could only be used with the old iPhone.
Same here still haven’t got anythingI am indeed!
O2 says that to request a new eSIM you need to contact them or go to the store. It’s not possible to get a new eSIM from the app.I don’t know about O2, with giffgaff you just use the app and activate a new eSIM even of the old eSIM in the old phone still active, just worked after few mins.
Shouldn’t the process be the same or similar? Seen giffgaff using the same network.
O2 seems pretty bad at this - it looks like it involves a call.
A bit old fashioned, especially if one currently has no eSIM to use to call!
So backward thinking, should copy others for their perfect execution and ease of process.O2 says that to request a new eSIM you need to contact them or go to the store. It’s not possible to get a new eSIM from the app.https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-and-devices/sims-and-numbers/esim
Yes it makes 0 sense. They don’t even have 24/7 anyway. I’ll move elsewhere when my contract expiresSo backward thinking, should copy others for their perfect execution and ease of process.
Also I forgot to point out in my previous comment, you must delete the eSIM on the old phone once you have transferred over to the new phone.
I don't fancy my 2 new phones sitting in a taxi overnight! I may never see themNI deliveries seem really bad this year. DHL are usually reliable.
Mine left East Midlands this morning at 5.20am and arrived at Belfast delivery facility at 9.12am. Been quicker flying over to get it and flying back in less time. Was out for delivery at 10.55am and delivered 15mins later somehow. Not sure if it was by DHL themselves or not but was delivered to a different department than the usual 2 places and panic set in for a few minutes until someone rang.
Hope everyone gets sorted by the morning at worst.
So really susceptible to scratches, but actually really quite strong glass if you have to absolutely bash it with a metal hammer to break it (then claim you didn’t hit it that hard 🤣)The Temu JerryRig 🤣
As long as you are satisfied with your choice, that all it matters, congrats to you too.I'm reading all the Air vs. Pro talk while sat here enjoying my base 17. It may not have a shiny new design, but I feel like it's the perfect blend of both devices and the lighter weight (coming from a 14 Pro) is much appreciated! Congrats to all who got their new devices as planned today, I hope everyone else's arrive tomorrow.
