Obviously no different to any other phones here, but I do have some other orange objects at home for comparison to the Cosmic... I would say that these photos seem to lean a bit too yellow. It's a bit more of a saturated orange under most lights. Honestly I kind of like it! Paired with a Fox Orange wallet.

Those are some lovely photos and combo with the wallet, I love the toy Land Rover!
 
Amazon are weird.
I ordered some AirPods P3 and they said 'due 19th September' and 'Order Received'
Today my card was charged. Still says 'Order Received'
BUT - I can see a tracking number, and the packing slip on my account.

No delivery date. I noticed they'd clearly sold out yesterday and said 'unavailable' but now they're showing is stock but delivery date is another week or so even on Prime.

I messaged and asked what was up- they said they dont know but it's in stock.. sorry for the pain and added a tenner credit (good!) but I assumed my card being charged meant they would be dispatched.

Well, DHL and Apple screwed me over:

No timeslot this morning so waited until 11:30 and called Apple.
Apple contacted DHL who said the package was damaged so didn't deliver it.
I asked Apple to tell DHL to deliver it anyway and if it was only packaging damage, I'd be fine.
Apple call back to tell me DHL can't find the package.

Apple support then assure me that a new iPhone 17 Pro Max will be delivered on Monday and I will receive email confirmation.
No email by 17:00 so I call support again-now saying no record of the Monday delivery slot and I will have to wait 2-3 business days for a replacement order to be processed.

Utter shambles. :mad:

Does anyone know how to get a new eSIM from O2? Their contact center is closed. I deleted the eSIM from my old iPhone thinking that I could simply download it from the O2 app and use it in the new iPhone but apparently that eSIM could only be used with the old iPhone.
Yep it’s in store only with ID apparently, I accidentally threw my physical sim away and I want an eSIM but this is the only way to do it

It’s only an issue with o2 if you delete it, mine just transferred as a part of the transfer iPhone.
how long did it take? i started this "transfer" process over an hour ago (the actual eSIM transfer, not the data transfer on the phone) and i still have no service on either phone. thank you!

The actual eSIM transfer should not take any longer than 3-5 minutes. I’m on Three btw. It took me about 3 mins.

Also make sure both of your phones are connected to the WiFi, because during the transfer they both will be disconnected from their mobile network.
 
My Vodafone eSIM transfer was 2-3minutes tops. If you go into the mobile service settings is there a bit that says add data plan? When I originally moved from physical to eSIM I was panicking it hadn’t happened after an hour but then saw that clicked it and it started working.

thanks for the info! however o2 is specifically the one i'm asking about because they historically have issues with eSIM transfers. that step took 3-5 minutes for me, like you said, but i still don't have service on the new phone and i got an email from o2 saying "your order has been created" for a new eSIM so i'm pretty sure whatever they're doing is not an actual eSIM swap. 🤦‍♀️

ok, 3 hours after doing the eSIM transfer process which only took about 2-3 mins my new phone finally has a signal. 😅

Thanks to whoever recommended that “Shieldon” case from Amazon. It’s lovely! One the nicest cases I’ve ever used. Looks great on my black 17.

Hope the poor souls who didn't get their deliveries as planned yesterday get them today.

Bought the Air MagSafe Charger from Currys yesterday and paid £10 for "before noon" delivery via DPD. It's not yet at the depot, so we'll see if it arrives before midday as promised.

Still blown away by the Air and delighted with the purchase. Coming from the 16 Pro Max it doesn't feel that much smaller screen size wise, yet is in a different dimension in terms of the design and feel in the hand.

Noticed my Photos / faces etc didn't yet index overnight so still waiting for all that initial stuff to complete.

If you go on live chat they will provision a new eSIM and send you a QR code.
