I don’t know if I’m crazy but my Sky Blue Air looks white. I can’t seem to see the hint of blue on the titanium frame. It’s looks silver to me what ever angle I look at it.

It’s got to be a very subtle Blue

Is that definite. The blue is just on the back of the frame and not on the side rails. The gold air has a hint of gold to the side frames.

Has anybody managed to refund the AppleCare on their old iPhone via the Apple Support App? I keep getting to the final step on the payment details (IBAN) only to see the message "We are unable to verify your bank information. Please try again later". Traded the 16 PM in at the Apple Store in Meadowhall three days ago and didn't expect this to be so problematic.

I still have to laugh at the YT account “YrAvgConsumer” who is anything but an “Average Consumer” with all his Apple freebies etc.

I prefer accounts like Everyday Dad etc.

I saw a good comment under one of these YT reviews of the Air. It went something along the lines of these content creators forget that they are in the minority as users of phones. And most ordinary people will have very different needs.

I think the big thing for me, is a lot of users needs are actually wants. People want to have ultra wide, or a telephoto lense. That’s fair enough. But I think a lot of users feel they need it. I was in that boat until I realised. I like having the ultra wide and the Macro photography, and yes I miss it on my Air. But I don’t need it, far from it - it’s not something I need to do my job, or get by in day to day routines

Any suggestions as to which retailer is likely to have stock soonest?

I’m after a 256GB Blue Pro Max and the retailers I usually order from are out of stock (Apple, Amazon and John Lewis).

Would it be a reasonable assumption that Apple is likely to restock first?

Any advice appreciated.

Apple if you check daily for instore availability near where you are. Or alternatively John lewis is advertising pre orders for 8th october. I would check Argos stock as well daily. Pro Max however are difficult to get.

I’m returning my pro max blue as the volume up button keeps sticking. Never had a fault with a phone before.. I was planning to swap it out for an Air anyway, which I have an order.

You could place an order with Apple as a holding position. They won’t charge your credit card until they are ready to despatch it and you can easily cancel the order if you find a retailer (including Apple stores) in the meantime

Looks the same to me as the white to be honest. I haven’t seen it person so you may be right.

Go on the Apple store @ 6 in the morning when their system’s update with new stock for collection

I was in the 24 Sep - 29 Sep group and my card was charged today, but I still haven't received a dispatch email.

I'm a bit surprised, given I assume they've got my phone in hand or they wouldn't have charged my card. So I'm not sure why they haven't shipped it yet, especially as I can see above some are in the same window as me and have had dispatch emails.

Hopefully they'll send it tomorrow for delivery on Thursday.

I have two airs that arrive today as I couldn’t make up my mind about colours. Then I will pack up my pro Max to send back. As I said in another post, it has a problem with the volume up button that keeps sticking. Because I’m sending it back, I’ve actually been using it caseless for the last four days and I haven’t babied it at all to see how resilient the casing is against scuffs and scratches. I’ve put it in my pocket with keys, thrown it into bags with other bits and pieces, dragged it across tables and heavily dropped it on to various MagSafe chargers and there’s not a mark on it so the aluminium is holding up well

Most likely you will. I originally had 24 - 29th September delivery window but got it on the 19th on Friday. No text. Just email with a link to track via DHL but a 3rd party delivered at 17:45.
