I so wish we got the YouTube/online reviews BEFORE pre-order day! Sigh.
Yeah I literally just want to know about the air's battery for everyday use.

Yep those “real world” battery tests on the Air are going to be interesting!I so wish we got the YouTube/online reviews BEFORE pre-order day! Sigh.
Yes, it could go either way. I hope it's the latter and shows Apple there is still a huge market for customers who might want something really powerful, but really don't need absolutely everything in there at the expense of design, weight and overall experience. I really think the Air will be immensely popular when folk get to see it in person. It's too early to tell, but the Air is either going to be a repeat of the iPhone mini (loved by a few, a nod to the 'good old days', but ultimately a sales flop) or a sleeper hit (better than expected performance, irresistible design and form factor bring back the 'old Apple' wow factor, surprisingly good sales).
I'm personally going to be hungry and foolish, to quote Jobs, and be a Day 1 user of this new form factor. If it's atrocious, I'll return and swap for the Pro immediately. If it slowly reveals itself to be a hindrance, or I grow to miss any feature missing, I'll swap out in December for the Pro.
Yes, same thing happened to me! Although when I check under 'Devices' it shows my 16 Pro Max as being in the Upgrade Programme. Mind you, it still says you have to wait until 13:00 on Friday (12 Sept) to make a reservation online and then go into the store to complete...Anyone else seeing this when the go into the Apple Store app, go into your account and select iPhone Upgrade Program? I have a 16 Pro Max currently on the upgrade program and was expecting to just reserve my upgrade like before. I've not had the opportunity to save a phone.

I very much doubt a few less mm’s is going to make a difference! 🤣Air on the streets of London will create chaos.
Easy to snatch.
Also will be hit with ahem dealers. Easy to slide inside and side of your car seat lol.
I pay £85.45 p/m for my 16 Pro Max, 1TBNow I am thinking to cancel my AirPods 3 and AWU3 order and change it to pick up in the shop and hopefully align a phone pick up to get back to onto the upgrade program.
Can someone tell me the current monthly price for an Apple 16 Pro/max so I can compare with my pre-approved finance deal? I only pay £35 per month for the 17 Pro Max with the trade in. Last time I used the UP I think it about £50-55 a month?! And nowadays they have enough phones available to pre-order.
This does look good. I ordered the blue and green versions with apple wallets also. not sure the blue case and wallet are the same sade yet though....
mh... my finance is £35, but as I said, I am trading in my old phone. ALso, I am going for 256GB only butstill it would probably £20 more per month, just for the convenience of the upgrade... decisions, decisions...I pay £85.45 p/m for my 16 Pro Max, 1TB
I use the ESR Armorite ones for all my phones and the one for the 17PM is being delivered todayWhich screen protectors do you use now? Used Spigen EZ Fit for my 15PM. It went on without the dreaded bubbles so I’ll be ordering again for my 17PM. Anyone use the Apple Store?
Do the Armorite protectors normally work ok with cases? I have a Torro leather wallet case ordered and the Belkin ones don't cover the screen borders.I use the ESR Armorite ones for all my phones and the one for the 17PM is being delivered today
Here's the link for it https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0F6T1HPBG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
I used the Apple Store applied one for my XS Max and it's the only screen protector I ever broke by just putting my phone face down on my desk! Ever since I've saved the money and bought a pack on Amazon many times I still have some of the pack left when I upgraded my phone.
No leaked tariff data for UK networks yet?
I tried locally on Gumtree and people were offering the same. Plus I’ve had scammers on eBay and gumtree before. I find Cex easier all be it slightly worse priceYou can get much better prices than CEX elsewhere. They are pretty much the worst.

Zero chance of getting stock there.
Exactly. All their stock gets picked up by re sellers in South Asia. Where they sell it for very high prices.
Mine dropped from £650 to £625 in the 45 seconds it took to enter the details! Probably shouldn’t have left it until two minutes before the keynote…Locked in prices for my 16 PM & wife's 15 PM with Mazuma, dropped a little since Tuesday but won't be sending in until transferred to new phones and the prices are locked for fourteen days so didn't feel comfortable doing it earlier than today.
