I checked the Ts and Cs, if you cancel AppleCare+ on the Upgrade Programme you get a refund so it really is no different to the financing option.

I guess it’s over 20 months so the monthly payment is higher but the gross cost is still the same.

Can somebody tell me what I am missing?

I’ve only ever bought Apple cases. It seems wrong to put another brand’s case on my iPhone.

In the past few years I’ve gone with the Apple clear cases. They’re usually 20% off at Amazon. And the quality seems to be there.

That being said, I mostly go naked with my iPhones — at least in the privacy of my own home. They’re beautiful pieces of design: why cover them up?

I’ve bought the bumper for my Air, which I’ll use when I’m outdoors and there are hard surfaces to drop it on. And I’ll have AC theft and loss.

I’m not a fan of using a case per say. For transportation I generally use a fitBAG as they help to keep the phone clean and safe while in a bag or pocket with other items.
