Do Apple open the IUP on Iphone release day? as i'm interested to know this. My gut feeling is it won't open on Friday as they will want all hands on deck allocating pre-orders during iphone release day.

Although I can't find any confirmation of this either way anywhere.

I thought the reserve link opens early on launch day but I might be wrong. Does anyone know from previous years?

I think it will open.

I’m not on the IUP this year but I remember trying to pre-order a 15 Pro Max a couple of years ago was a nightmare. Ended up getting an October pickup date, but IUP stock was available from 6am on launch day and managed to get one for pickup that day pretty easily. I’d recommend checking on Friday.

sorry to say this... I would fully expect them to find a non issue with the phone and offer a lower price than the current market price. happened to me. Apparently the plastic antenna strips are defects... hahaha. what a joke. I stopped using them

Is it true or a particular operator? EE? I am now using the eSIM but the physical SIM is still in the phone. Last time I checked I could switch between them any time. Notice: I can enable both, but one will be without number.

I asked a question about the eSIM on EE the other day and if you switch to an eSIM, then your physical Sim should be redundant

I'm not the most knowledgeable on this but it would concern me if a carrier was to leave a duplicate sim active. It would be wide open to fraud and unaccounted charges on your phone bill. I know smarty cancel the current sim when you activate a new one, that's true for physical sims or esims.
 
Anyone who ordered through Sky have an expected delivery date other than ‘coming soon’ yet?
 
OK, I have just checked again and the physical SIM doesn't connect to the network anymore. I swear that soon after the activation of the eSIM I could use one or the other!

All do, no 2 SIM with same number will ever be active.
 
Anyone had any experience in organising a swap from a physical SIM card to eSIM on Talk Mobile? I’ve explained I’m getting the iPhone Air on Friday and they said they would send me an email about it but I’ve not received anything yet!
