Ive just spoken to CS at Creation. Mine got declined on the nineth which puzzled me. According to them my Name and Address do not match my credit file hence the application did not proceed forward. Told me to apply again after 10 days. The address format pulled from your Apple ID does not match the address format used on Creation Finance application page so be careful and check all your details.
Thanks for this.

I suspect this may be what happened to me, as Creation said they used Experian, for which I have a perfect score and ample spare credit capacity against me.

Anyone else stuck on the colour choice. Finding it hard to choose between burgundy and glacier. Honestly unlike last year all the colours look good this year.

I had a large creation credit balance given when I applied for my 17 Pro Max, enough to get the same for hubby and to pre order an 18 Pro Max tomorrow for him, it’s already been approved. I have to wait until we get the refunds for the two 17 Pro Maxs before I can get one for me, but that’s okay, I don’t mind. We have an old iPhone SE 3rd gen I can use until I can get my 18 Pro Max. Going to try and do the two refunds in store on Sunday, I really don’t want to courier them back to Apple.

For about 6 years I've been wanting one device that can do as much as possible (a phone, tablet, and for my light personal use, pretty much computer as well). Dabbled with non Apple stuff to varying degrees of success - they were cool products but ultimately my entire life runs smoothly on Apple's ecosystem so I always came back. iPad also sort of does the job but I still need an iPhone right? I resent carrying and looking after the two devices so this is perfect to me. Finally Apple is in the arena of phone / tablet hybrid.

So for that reason I think... let's go for it! On the other hand I'm sitting with a nice iPad Pro M4 , nice iPhone Air, nice high spec MB Air - could consolidate three into one for my light use and it would feel nicer with one device to worry about. It's a lot of money too.

Learning from experience (and having the Samsung Fold 6, Fold 7 and the Google Fold OG and then 9 Pro Fold); they cannot do the same as an iPad/tablet; and the iPad/tablet cannot do the same as a MacBook etc

I tried to replace an M1 MBA with the M5 iPad Pro - failed after about 2 weeks; annoyed the hell out of me, more so when I was trying to amend docs / PDFs and upload to platforms - that went back and bought myself my M5 MBA

Sold my 16PM and bought he Google 9 Pro Fold (best of both worlds, phone & tablet) - not so much. Great device and a great camera IMO; but I missed the proper phone (Samsung Sx Ultra / iPhone Pro Max etc) and again; moved that on

I'm now with an iPhone Air and my AWU3 and my M5 MBA - best of both worlds IMO - the Duo couldn't replace them at all - and the price is mental in my opinion...

Any best practices for the pre order tomorrow? I recall last year having the app store open on 3 devices and didn’t get in for at least 10-15 mins. Ended up using a browser on the PC in the end.

I did their “Get ready for iPhone 18 Pro pre‑order” thing in the Apple Store app.

Only thing left to do is buying it tomorrow.

Doesn't seem the Duo has it though... assume sacrificed to ensure the thin design

Ive just done mine now again. This time i only used first part of my First Name and i entered the Address manually. Went through like a breeze.

Im buying the devices via one off payment but its good to have a credit line with Apple lol.
