Bath Uni. What about you? I've just cancelled the order, and gonna go down on launch day. If the Apple store sells out, then there's always PC World or one of the other places. Plus, I think with pre-orders being available this year, it hopefully shouldn't be too bad.

Personally, I did the 4S launch, get down there BEFORE 7 and you should get one. And get ready for the wooping.... Good luck either way, I'll be in bed waiting for mine to arrive

Shipped too (16gb, wifi, white) via TNT to Manchester.

Could be location-based and down to the courier capacity rather than Apple (although I accept they employ the couriers). I imagine TNT when faced with delivering one iPad to a rural/outlying destination vs 10-20 iPad deliveries to urban destinations closer together, go for the latter. Obviously unfortunate for those who ordered early.

If they're coming direct from China, it may be the production location given Foxconn's multiple sites in Shenzen (close to Guangzhou/HK), Chengdu (isolated inland mid-west), Wuhan (quite inland from Shanghai) and Zhengzhou (half-way between to Shanghai/Beijing). Some (Shenzen) may get to the airport quicker than others. That is if all plants are handling the new iPad or just some.

Or it could just be a mish-mash of organised chaos with no rhyme nor reason.
