UK New iPad Thread.

Im sure any Apple store would except the return. Kudos to you for not trying to sell it for more money.
 
Queue at cabots circus in Bristol has now just gone. They still have stock left of the high capacity models, I think some of the 16gb models are sold out.

There are not enough descriptive words in the english dictionary to say how amazing the screen is. Web pages are just a joy to view.

Just took a visit to Comet store in Cheltenham. I enquired about stock and they said they had plenty.

However they are selling them at £50 above retail price. This is because you have to purchase their "essential pack" with each iPad.

I advised the manager that I didn't want the essentials pack and he said that he can't sell it to me then because it is a "Comet thing"

Has anyone else had this experience in a Comet store?

Sounds like a way to make a quick few quid, and people desperate/stupid will probably pay for it too.

Mine just come via UKMAIL in Worcester, he wasnf happy about the amount he has to deliver, he was effing & jeffing!
 
Just arrived to central Leeds via TNT!

Just waiting on the restore from iCloud to finish up, then I can play! Did anyone else's come with German settings as the default (Language, location, etc)?

Yes it will sir! That's what did yesterday. I think I spent a minimum of twenty quid yesterday.


Anyways. This bloody wait is making me go mental. I could have sworn that my doorbell went off, but when I rushed down to see, there was no trace of anyone or any vehicle waiting.

ooo i'm in hyde park looking out the window every 5 min, keeping an eye and ear out as the landlord has picked this week to replace the front door and hasn't put the doorbell back for my flat!
