Mine says something about merging (presumably with the student gift card) on the website, however I rang up and he said the ETA on the gift card was much later as it was coming in the post.

Well I am thinking because I don't have any accessories it doesn't have to do any merging that the other people are talking about...so hopefully - straight to my house once its landed and been through the depot (and customs!

Same! I ordered my adapter last week and it arrived today!
It means it's keeping mine company at Syncreon in Hinckley. So with any luck they'll be dispatched to us today (Tues) for delivery Wed

I'm doing virtually the same thing! Merged with a student card, then up to Dunfermline. Lets hope we get it on the 5th then. What day did you order? 2pm on the 12th for me.

Does anyone know how long it taskes to get a UPS reference once the order has been delivered to the merging centre by goldstar? Mine was delivered last night st 20:30 so was wondering if it was likely to be merged today and passed to ups by the end of the day?

On Expeditors, the final destination they follow is to Syncreon. From there, it then creates a tracking number for UPS(electronic ticket so means its booked for pick-up). You will not see any action until it arrives at the facility in Tamworth (for me anyway). This normally updates in the evening. Then from there it will be transferred to the assigned depot for your area and then go straight out for delivery!

You are running exactly a day behind me. My UPS details appeared on the Apple tracking page yesterday morning so I'd expect yours anytime now.
Mine is out for delivery right now. Keeping my fingers crossed for no dead pixels, light leak or other defects!
I ordered on the 12th at 4pm. Same truck as you, and will probably be the same UPS truck as well!
I'm getting it delivered to my work to make sure someone will sign for it, and if it comes in the morning like most the mail does at work, I'll get to play with it all day!

My order just turned to Shipped. It was on preparing for shipment yesterday night. I managed to track it on expo.expeditors.com but i was wodering isnt there a specific UPS tracking number for this item? Or are they all shipped as a bulk? I have never encountered such thing with apple. Any clarification will be appreciated.. Thanks

hopefully mine is out for delivery as well, but I can only check later this morning when I am in front of a computer. I am out for the day unfortunately so if everything goes according to plan, I should have a shiny new toy to play with when I get back.

My apple store bridgepoint tracking has changed to "In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule" but I haven't got UPS numbers yet.
Any ideas what this means?

EDIT: you said it's just changed - I'm sure mine's said that from day one

Okay... UPS has just updated - no new tracking information but it now says that it is scheduled for Friday delivery (never said anything before) - but Apple is still saying Thursday! - Oh well... at least I should get it for the weekend!
