UK New MacBook Pro Thread.

Yeah, I have exactly the same problem. I ordered on June 12, and my deliver dates are July 11 to July 17. But my order is STILL PROCESSING. Normally I'm quite patient about these things, but it is frustrating when I see orders placed more than a week after mine are already being delivered.

Also, I have found that Apple customer services in the U.K. are useless. I've spoken to them around three or four times since I ordered, and each time I get a completely different response. I also hear that some customers are being given SuperDrives and other accessories for their lengthy wait, but when I hinted at this the Apple rep just said, "I'm afraid there's nothing we can do."

It doesn't look like anyone from the uk has managed to get one of the "compensation" gifts, seems I be a US only thing.

Not had a problem with the UK CS team, they've been excellent.

I wanted a Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter so I asked for it to be added it to the order, the lovely lass put me on hold and said they'll be sending me one out free of charge!

Or put it in an Actual jiffy bag (in a neoprene sleeve if you want) so that doesn't look like an undercover laptop bag but like a real jiffy bag. For a fraction of the cost... :)

Or a bag for life with a bit of shopping on top. Best way to hide things. ;-)

Brilliant. Ordered 2.3/16/256 rMBP on 14th June, estimate was delivery by 19th July....arrived this morning. Tedious thorough check to be done later but for now I am one happy bunny!

Thats what i've got. I presume that means it's in London, attempting to clear customs. I guess i'll be waiting till the morning before it moves to the merging facility!

Yeah, the red text at the top of the expeditors site mentioned not clear for import, although that's changed to delivered now!

So I presume if Apple got it this morning, it will be shipped back out from them this afternoon/evening, and hopefully they've been sending them next day and we'll get it tomorrow!
 
Is there any chance of an early delivery for me? e.g. tomorrow instead of the estimated friday.

Expo is showing as 'Ready for delivery' and has been for a few hours, and Apple is showing as 'In transit to customer, shipment on schedule'?

Can't wait much longer!

You've definitely got a chance. Mine was saying that until yesterday afternoon, and it's being delivered today.
 
Would it be too early to say Apple are pretty much catching up on the back log now judging by a few people on this thread getting their's a week or even 2 weeks early?

It had to merge. Judging by my experience, there's a good chance tours has merged already, and expo just isn't up to date.
