My 2.6GHz, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD ordered on the 29th through the UK Edu store has just changed to Preparing for Shipment.
Can I ask where it is being shipped to?

I ordered the same setup on the 28th... Still processing :-(
Earliest shipping estimate is 1 week from today, so I'm hoping ill see some kind of movement pretty soon!

Curiously not. Still says 30th July->3rd August. I rather hope I will have it by next weekend; I guess it depends how long it takes once it has shipped.....

My rMBP replacement should be shipped within a few business days, which I'm really surprised about since its a BTO model. Excellent service again.
Hopefully this one will be just as perfect as the one going back (i.e. no scratches or marks), minus the dead pixel of course

My same spec machine, ordered 27th July, has just changed too.
Oooh - exciting. My expiditors says my Requested Delivery Date is the 21st, tomorrow. Now I know they don't deliver on Saturdays, but it makes Monday quite likely.
Ordered on 25TH and still processing. Thinking of scrapping whole idea
Wonder if the EDU is put behind full payments? Or maybe a slight delay while they're pre-loaded with ML if 25TH July is launch date?

It's conceivable with the launch of ML only six days away, but they seem to ship in batches of the same configuration so it may well be based on whats coming off the production lines.
I'm happy to wait, buying online with the HE EDU discount is worth it for the 3 year warranty.

Unfortunately i ordered on the 25th, edu 2.6/16/512 and mine is nearly here now. The only thing I can see holding things up is that shops appear to be getting a priority on base model orders, so if it was base it might be held up for that reason. I would be on the blower though to find out what is going on...
Finally have my rMBP! (ordered 21st June)
They tried to deliver on Wednesday morning, but I was 350 miles away on holiday in Cornwall. Managed to pick it up from UPS on the way home today, a nice 7 hour journey.
Sadly it's still in its brown cardboard till we've got the little one to bed and the car unpacked

I have one of those..but its worth it (on both counts) when you have it in yours hands.
I also ordered from the Education store to let anyone who cares know, and mine changed to preparing for shipment at some point during the afternoon/evening today.
Someone also mentioned the delays could be down to the base model; I've definitely noticed a slight correlation with people who get theirs ahead of time and the 2.6 configurations as far as the people who bother to post here are concerned. Still, who knows - mine is still likely to make the estimated delivery window, so I've no real complaints.
My 2.3/8/256 ordered on 25th June is FINALLY in "preparing for shipment" stage, looks like it will just meet the 3-4 week window given when I ordered.
Ordered 2.3/16/256 UK Edu store on June 30th -- preparing for shipping now. May have been yesterday but i was too tired and drunk to check.
