Dunno, lots, some brief research suggests the 747 could hold around 38 pallet, maybe more for all I know, but I dunno how many ipads you could get on a pallet.

Then she added, almost as an afterthought "...so it should be out for delivery tomorrow". I'm having the iPad delivered to my work address in Leicester. We shall see...
Tomorrow is theoretically possible based on what we know/are guessing, but the timing will be pretty tight. Thursday seems more likely especially for people further away from the midlands, although we still dont know for sure if Apple are trying to block deliveries till Friday.
... I bet this place will be quieter on Friday afternoon.![]()
Timing seems tight to me too, but she sounded fairly confident. If it arrives tomorrow, then it's a bonus. If not, I won't lose too much sleep.
Just for those who are interested, I have managed to get back onto the 'Bridge Point' that gives an overview of my order, although absolutely nothing is different.

I seem to be one of the very few that is ups and not TNT. Can anyone explain the reason for this? TNT covers my area as I've had loads of deliveries from them in the past.

Its probably because they have certain sorts of models/order combinations coming from one place (UK or Europe I cant say for sure) via TNT, and others are somewhere else that is normally handled by UPS distribution (likely in the UK). And then of course there are also the TNT ones from China.
just spoke to the TNT call centre and spoke to a lovely south african lady who said my ipad 16gb wifi had a due date of the 27th May. I had the please call bit under the status on the tnt uk site tracking so rang and thats what they said. It was one of the ipads thats final update was: 24 May 2010 18:03:48 Hong Kong Shipment In Transit.

I have the rotating ' ! ' next to the tracking number - and have done ever since my consignment first appeared - but it doesn't say anything underneath it, nothing pops-up when I mouse-over it, and there's no link if I click (or double-click) it. So, what does it mean?![]()
