I ordered my iPad at 12:07 (their time, 1:07 ours) on the pre-order launch day. Since then I've been ridiculously excited. This thread, and the realisation that i'm not alone in my "child before christmas" level of anticipation, is only hyping things up even more for me !
Quite frankly i've spent the past 24 hours feeling a bit sick with excitement! God knows how i'll be come thursday !

Yes this is entertaining on here and can possibly only happen with Mac products.
I'm with TNT UK but still only tracking to Greece with my number. I expect this to change later today or tommorow when TNT pick it up from Apple as they are just using old tracking numbers.
Have to be patient but fun looking on my iPhone app deliveries for any update

I like the idea of a mega sized Sat Nav in my car.. and I hope UK newspapers make apps to read replica papers on the iPad and having it on trips and for holidays would be brilliant!! Thats besides its amazing HD quality for video, pictures, games wow I cant wait

You will love it, I'm on train now to London and just watched Oceans 12 that I got from iTunes , to think I used to lug my laptop around.
It really is an amazing bit of kit, this is wifi model which I have been using with jb iPhone on mywi but I just still had to get a 3G model, my lass is getting this one so both happy.
Mywi is good but it does drain the battery if anyone thinking of going down that route with wifi

Apple has emailed me an invoice overnight. I presume that my credit card has been charged (not verified this yet).

UPS still says that my shipment status is "Billing Information Received". I don't expect that to update anytime before Thursday.

ok so my ipad already has be seen in hong kong, and the TNT site says it is "shipped" - but does that mean anything?

i guess it all depends on the "ship".....

in a nother board a guy whos order from tnt is stil on the "transit from hk" status called them and asked whats up? They said the order still is in HK because of trouble with the customs

Check again - mine was exactly the same until about 30 seconds ago, now gone to "Billing information received" - movement at last

They took my money!!! haha. UPS said delivery for thursday, I wont believe it until I see it as they've once told me I'd get it on the 25th which was obviously not true. Lets hop UPS collect today, If they do then next day delivery it is!

iPad and Case had separate tracking numbers - but have been combined...

They had been 'dead' since my shipping notification on Saturday. But now read Billing information received.

Love idea of giant SatNav - imagine that clinging to your windscreen! May have to go to China/HK on trip in a week's time and really looking forward to having it on the plane...oh the irony though!
Re. Apps. I have been using CoPilot as my iPhone SatNav for some time and really like it (TomTom has now gone to husband). Love Scrabble for time-filling and competitions with daughters. Can't wait to have an App-fest on Friday

Woke up the the news that it is in the netherlands. Still has some way to go, really hoping it turns up on Thursday as I'm not in the office on Friday.

The managers sprung a surprise site visit on me... midday... not worried though.

Hmmm... the tracking information (that didn't work) has now disappeared from my order status, all it says now is EMEA (Fast Ship).

Called Apple to enquire and they said that UPS are so overwhelmed they have asked Apple to remove tracking information from some orders until they are sure of when they can deliver, and it may now be Saturday....

I'm going away Friday night, back on Tuesday.
