UK order updated today 21st to SHIPPED!!

My order has now been updated with the correct consignment number, but its the same one already had from the US store (which is still tracking the Greece package).
 
I'm enjoying this thread too. It's great to compare progress with other people.

Mine's a 16GB WiFi ordered at 1:04am on the first day of UK pre-orders and it's coming from Shenzhen via TNT. I've had my Apple invoice via email and they debited my credit card (Mastercard) yesterday. My latest tracking info is:

26 May 2010 02:26:33 Arnhem Hub Shipment In Transit.

Based on the link that was posted a few pages back to some forum dicussions from a few years back about a previous newly-launched Apple product coming from China via TNT Arnhem I'm cautiously optimistic that this is going to end up as being on my local TNT van for delivery tomorrow.

Ahh, shipped at last - got the confirmation email this morning. No tracking yet, just the 1z numbers, but the email says delivery expected on or before Friday so it should be OK. Fingers crossed!
 
Have been following this thread religiously since got my shipment notice on Saturday - loved every minute of it!

Ordered iPad 32GB Wifi, shipping with TNT from Hong Kong.

My shipment currently states it is in transit from 'Arnhem Hub':

I advice people to check the UK TNT website because when I did, I got status 'Please call', which does not appear on the International TNT website. When I rang I spoke to a lovely lady who said that there was no problem with my shipment, and my iPad is due to be delivered tomorrow during business hours :D
 
Yep, my UPS UK tracking number has only just started working within the last hour. It just says "Billing Information Received".

I ordered the 32GB WiFi and Dock.

I have a 32GB WiFi but have absolutely no clue as to its whereabouts although money has been taken. Have tried the UK and Global TNT tracking but no joy :( How did you get yours to work? Help!
 
I thought the cargo plane was flying to Liege though. I assume here it actually went to Arnhem. Judging from historical shipments, the next stop is Liege, and then the UK. If it left Arnhem 8 hours ago it would definitely be in Liege right now - I assume the latest tracking info should be live soon.

I was not sure what 'HT1 1st Call. Delivery Appointment Made With Receiver.' meant so I called TNT. The nice woman said that it was in the UK and out for delivery today. I am not holding my breath though. I still expect it to be here on Friday, hopefully. :)

I wonder how TNT works. There is no airport close to Arnhem, but they do customs clearance there.

Given my experience with TNT, I think Apple is making a mistake using them for anything.

What type of tracking number have you been given by Apple? If its alphanumeric beginning e.g. 1Z then its UPS UK. Otherwise, seems to be TNT. Tracking numbers appear to be going 'live' this morning, but most seem to be at 'billing info received' i.e. parcels haven't been collected from sender yet.

I have the nine digit number beginning 802..... specified as TNT UK delivery.

Just spoke to TNT for work and so snuck a question about my personal order in as well. They said its on its way now and that it would be here tomorrow (27th) and that there was no note on the file to say it has to be held till Friday oh and just in case you wondered the new fixed work printer is going to be late my guess is because they have to ship so many iPads so no work today

My guess is that it will have left Arnhem, and is travelling to Northampton now by road, as its cheaper considering the amount of iPads and that they still have until the 28th(although it should be delivered tomorrow:)).
However they might send it by plane, as they did arrive in Arnhem quite late.
