Peonymac - try logging into the US store for yr order update. It will give you the consignment number which should enable you to track it. If you then can't track it you are prob using the uk tracking site and you need the I international site.

Alternatively - and this goes fir everyone who is struggling to track their item try. www.track-trace.com

It works well. Another option is the free app called Posted Lite which I am using - works very well.

Unless its a UK TNT then all you get is our Greek friend.

Bit off topic,
When I enter my serial number into http://appleserialnumberinfo.com/ it says it has 512 MB of RAM, do you think this could be true? I think the biggest weakness of the ipad is the 256 MB of RAM
Eek! So does mine. Mine is a 16GB WiFi and all other details look exactly right. The serial number was taken off my emailed invoice from Apple, I assume yours was too.

I received my invoice this morning, and the money has finally disappeared from my account, with the transaction dated the 23rd......same day I got the shipping notification.

I am now happy, and looking forward to friday :D

Thanks for this. Have retried with all numbers on the TNT international site but it's still just got Athens in March. Will try your other suggestions now.

I've had two TNT trucks drive past my house at various times throughout the day so far, and it's infuriating :p

Ooh, that's harsh!

Red Dead Redemption? If not it should be! :D

Naah, still plugging my way through Dragon Age after a long hiatus with Mass Effect 2. My bro has bought RDR, so by the time I finish this and Arkham Asylum (very late to that party!), I'll borrow his copy.

Guys with Athens,...

... if you haven't been here like the rest of us mad fools, reason your getting Athens info, is that is TNT recycle there consignment numbers for some bloody strange reason..nothing to worry about..

..and sadly I leave this mad house for a while...as I have finally just had my read dead redemption delivered, so some gaming and reviewing to do, should last for a few days, :)

Guys, go read the link on page 54 ( here is the link.....http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=123642&page=28) someone has put up, that takes you to an old 2005 thread, for when the new ipod came out...

... Now why I'm telling you this? simply because it contains the same tracking info were getting for most of us here, including the dutch port of call.
But more importantly following that system, it took 14 hours, (god knows why, unless by road) to get to London

14 hours isn't totally out of wack for an air transfer. Don't forget that these times are probably times when the packages are actually scanned at a TNT facility so that 14 hours is probably the time from it being scanned at the Arnhem depot until it gets rescanned at the UK depot so the 14 hours probably includes:

- Time sitting in Arnhem waiting to be loaded onto the van to take the pallet to the correct outbound aircraft.
- Driving the package from the TNT Arnhem depot to the aircraft and loading it.
- Flight time from Netherlands to UK.
- Time taken to unload the plane at the UK end and drive the stuff to the nearest UK hub.
- If it's busy, then time waiting in a queue while they scan in pallets from other inbound deliveries.

If you add it all together then 14 hours seems feasible to me, and actually I think it was probably 15 hours because the Arnhem timestamp would have been continental Europe timezone and the UK one UK time so another hour is hidden by the timezone change.

And you're right, that is a really useful and appropriate thread to revisit right now. It's worthwhile to have it reposted here every few pages since this thread is getting so long.

iTunes store updated with a separate iPad section. I've just downloaded the iWorks and iBooks apps. Still no movement from TNT though.

Personally I find this thread useful - it shows two things:

1. I'm mental for wanting the iPad to be delivered ASAP, but there are plenty of others who are in the same boat.

2. There are many more people getting worked up enough so that I need not do.

Hehe no problem - thanks for passing it on. :)

Enjoy Red Dead, it'll keep you busy!

It is pretty damn phenomenal. Anyone with a 360/PS3 should check into this, there is soo much stuff to do to keep your mind off UPS numbers....

Anyway, back the the regularly scheduled angst ;)

<unlurk class=newbie>
OMG my TNT Greek delivery trace now has a London delivery underneath it... it shows today as the pick up date, so hopefully thats a delivery tomorrow...

first time for me on this thread but after days of getting only greek results from my TNT tracking number my own delivery is finally showing up using the TNT tracking box at http://www.track-trace.com/tnttrack - pickup date is stated as today but no other activity at present. argh! :D
