Just rang TNT (again 😛 ) spoke to a very nice woman called Rachel, who said that my iPad may well come, tomorrow 😀

now downloading iPad app's faster than ever ahah 😛

rather liking the £6 price for Pages / Keynote etc 😀

Aren't UPS Apple's normal courier? In which case they are probably less willing to p*** off Apple (and risk losing the contract) by delivering early.

TNT have less to lose, so are prepared to deliver as soon as.

Some posts here have indicated that Apple actually switched the delivery date to the 27th, so both UPS and TNT would be green lit to do this. The issue with UPS however is that they haven't offered any sort of information update for several days now, thereby leaving customers in the dark.

I've always had issues with UPS, so this doesn't surprise me.

I did ring TNT just now, but a recording about very heavy call volume. I'm happy at least that it's heading in the right direction, and it sounds like it might arrive tomorrow!

I ordered a Dodocase, number in the 2500s. Not expecting it until the middle to end of June, so I have an Apple Case arriving to cover me for the time being.

My TNT status has just changed again:

26 May 2010 15:35:00 Nuneaton Shipment In Transit.

😀 It is on its way!

And Nuneaton is less than an hours drive!
 
The tracker app has just changed:

ipad 3g 32gb with ups - changed from shipped to shipment dispatched; delivered by yesterday! Bridgepoint is back now

ipad wifi 16gb with tnt - in transit to customer; shipment on schedule; delivered by tomorrow!

no change to ups and tnt trackers

Mine is working too, UPS but has an estimated delivery date of yesterday!! (25th). Phoned UPS but they haven't a clue and say they don't have it yet grrrrrr
 
My Apple order page has just updated but the TNT tracking number still reckons it's in Arnhem.

Expected delivery date: 27th May

Mine's now in transit from Nuneaton so should hopefully arrive at my local depot by this evening for a delivery tomorrow...hopefully! Will give my local TNT depot a call tomorrow morning to confirm.
 
Mine's in Nuneaton too... I guess that must be TNTs central hub for the UK. I won't hold me breath until I see 'out for delivery' on the tracking page tomorrow.
