UK order updated today 21st to SHIPPED!!

Glad they moved forward to the 27th, as it's a bank holiday on the 31st which means no re-attemped deliveries until Tuesday.
 
Anyone else on here ordered a DODOcase as well?

Anyone actually received one?

Looks like I will have to take extra care with the pad until it arrives (lord knows when that will happen)

Phoned their freephone number to find out when delivery would be. I'm gutted, I am working in Glasgow all day tomorrow, so had to ask them to hold until Friday to deliver. I am in Kirriemuir which is near Aberdeen. They obviously don't know they are supposed to hang on to them in Edinburgh! May'be it is because I ordered a few things, not just the iPad.

If I didn't have to work I could have my iPad a day earlier. :mad: On the other hand if I didn't work there would be no iPad!! :rolleyes:

I just phoned TNT to change a detail on my address so that it doesn't end up in the hands of the neighbours (as other things have done when non-Royal Mail) and the woman definitely told me that it is being delivered tomorrow. She knew it was from Apple and so there doesn't seem to have been a stop put on our pre-order iPads. :D

Will have to stay in earshot of doorbell all day. What a shame that I can't weed the garden as I was planning to...;)

Last 5 minutes or so. I'm waiting for a "TNT UK" 64Gb 3G plus sim.

8115xxxxxx reference number and 8022xxxxx consignment number.

Ordered 1:20am 10 May. Shipped 22nd May. Finally showing on TNT international tracking with the correct destination.
 
Are most peoples iPads coming tomorrow now? This is possibly the most confusing product launch i've ever experienced lol. My billing info has been received today from UPS. I think i'll be expecting mine on friday.
 
Congrats to all you guys on TNT, hope you manage to get yours tomorrow!

Anyone with UPS move beyond the "billing information received" stage, or have any new information? Mine's been marked as shipped since the 23rd and still no updates beyond that.

UPS are saying its tomorrow or friday, but its up to Apple. I called Apple and they are saying its friday.

Not very helpful, UPS also said that it might not even change from the "Billing info" state but might of already been delivered.

I just talked to UPS. Wanted to make sure that if there was a chance of it turning up tomorrow, it would under no circumstances be left with a neighbour or whatever. I am out in the late afternoon from about half five on a commitment I can't realistically shirk, and my neighbours aren't so good. One is ok if a touch elderly and absent minded, but the other has been "in trouble" with the local anti social behaviour department at the local council for criminal damage of my property and harassment of me and my partner - so you can imagine the idea if him getting hold of anything of mine, let alone an iPad, makes my blood run cold.

The UPS bod said that it could be tomorrow or friday (they haven't picked mine up yet so couldn't say for sure.) But they did say that Apple specifically ask for the packages to be signed, sealed, delivered to only the recipient at the address on the parcel, not to be left with neighbours under any circumstances.

So - he new what it was and where it came from, and he said the tracking should update soon ("billing info received" atm), and that it could be delivered tomorrow or friday, between 8am and 7pm - but my tracking should update to tell me when it's out for delivery. No mention of Apple telling them to hold it.

The plot thickens. ;)

Here's my take on where I am. Based on my most recent TNT status...

26 May 2010 02:26:33 Arnhem Hub Shipment In Transit.

... and based on Crosbie's discovery of the old 2005 iLounge thread on Apple shipments via TNT Arnhem (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=123642&page=28) then, if history repeats itself, at about 17:00 this afternoon I might see an update on the TNT tracking info showing it in the UK.

I'm going to go and do some other stuff and leave all this alone until about 18:00. I'm going to try, really I am ....

Don't waste valuable refreshing time kidding yourself!

I've even switched my Dashboard to Devmode so I can drag the Delivery Status widget onto my desktop and refresh it constantly.

It better leave Arnhem Hub before the Orks arrive and storm the battlements! Sorry, just got offered a boxed edition of Runes of Magic, so I've got MMORPG on the brain!

Hey mine is the same, in transit from arneham hub. I rang up TNT, and I would advise you do the same as they can give you extra info! The woman I spoke to said that mine will be in the UK tonight, and that it should be delivered tommorow, but to ring anytime after 7am (which is when deliveries are allocated) just to make sure. I have an A level exam tommorow morning so I will be sprinting home from that :p

I'm jealous of you TNT people - us UPS chaps have nothing more than "Billing information received".
