I ordered my 16GB white iPhone today (7/22) and AT&T told me that they wouldn't charge my card until it shipped. A few hours later my card was charged? I wanted to know if this happened to them? I doubt they shipped my iPhone that fast.
The white ones are shipping a lot quicker than the black ones. You should check your order status to see of you've got a tracking number. Then you'll know for sure.

I tried this but it gives me a message saying why it might not be working and one of them is your order was placed in the last 24 hours.
And then I called AT&T and they answered my question wrong by saying that I wasn't going to be charged twice and that wasn't what I was asking. But I'll wait until tomorrow.
Has anyone else had this to happen to them before?
are you sure it just isn't a hold that was put on your card?
I'm sure. It was deducted from my checkings account already. It's not a problem with me, I'm just hoping it shipped already, but again, I highly highly doubt it. :/
Ordered a White 16GB on 7/11 at about 11:00am EST and it shipped last night and is on the truck for delivery right now. I am located just outside Philadelphia PA.
Just to let you guys know I checked the status of my iphone and there are 4 people left in front of me until mine ships.. Also another note, a couple of days ago at&t released the hold on my card and I had the money back in my account.. Just this morning I look in the account and the money was taken back out again.. So hopefully mine is shipping soon..
How many days did it take for the new charge to appear? Mine disappeared this morning.

that's the website - from the verification method select contact number (whatever number you gave them to contact you)
enter the contact number
enter the zip code for the store you purchased from
and, you have to click on "Submit" if you just use the enter key it will take to a website.
Each time I enter my info on this site and click SUBMIT, I get the following:
