Set up and Transfer of eSIM to eSIM from my 14 Pro to 15 Pro went exactly as it was supposed to happen. No issue at all.

Same for me. I didn’t transfer my eSIM until after 10pm last night. Everything went smoothly.

I had the same issue. And I didn’t have the old phone because Apple had taken it for the trade-in. When I got home and tried to activate it, I had all kinds of problems.

First it was iCloud that was acting funny because Apple would send a verification code to my iPad but it wouldn’t always appear and when it did it was only there for about a half a second. I had to take a video with my wife’s phone to actually see the six numbers.

Then I tried to do the number transfer through the AT&T website, but I couldn’t receive a verification text. Finally got through to an agent and they had it activated within about five minutes. I better not see an activation fee for this fiasco.

Had the same issue, was on the phone with ATT for about an hour while they went through various trys and finally used the IME 2 and EID numbers to program in their system. Finally it worked using the transfer to ATT option instead of transfer from old phone. Very frustrating, wish I had checked here before calling ATT.

After 10hrs of being on hold I finally got an agent on the line. How did you move past not receiving the verification code? That is where my CSR is stuck.

On the phone with Verizon now and have been working on it for an hour! Why would this be such an issue as you would think that would have tested this over and over. Tech even said " you cannot have 2 lines on the same phone" WHAT? Sure glad I have my wife's phone so we can do all this "trouble shooting" to get this fixed! I wouldn't think this is rocket science.

I called in, gave my phone info and everything (T-Mobile) and they still needed to text me the code to activate but its the phone I’m trying to activate with that code they can only text?!

im told I have to visit a store, the only issue I have is not being able to call or text or receive in both instances. I have other devices I can do connect to the world with except there are people important to me that only does calls so this is a huge pain in the butt for me.

I saw this banner at the top of my home page on AT&T website. They clearly know there is a problem.

I tried to do it on-line and I receive the below message in my account.

Something went wrong
We can’t complete this transaction online. For help, please call us at 800.331.0500 or visit an AT&T retail location.
and there wait time to speak with a rep is over 55 mins.
****Update. This morning I walked into an AT&T store and they transferred my eSIM in 5 mins. Att store is the quickest way.

This is my setup headache. AT&T also. I’m transferring the data now. When that is finished, I’ll try the on-device eSIM transfer to see if that works, then call AT&T.
I was unable to initially transfer the phone number from my old phone to the new one. To resolve this issue, I continued the restore and once that was done, I reset the OLD iPhone (14PM) and did not erase the eSIM. Once it was reset the number transferred with no issues using the manual setup in the new iPhone (15PM).

Hope this helps someone.

ATT is asking for the one-time verification code texted to my ATT number. Well, silly ATT, how the f*** am I supposed to get a text to a number you won‘t activate?
Text comes through iMessage on wifi doesn't it? It does for me.

I agree with others. After spending 11.5 hours on hold with AT&T, just go to the store if it is during the business day. They did very quickly what AT&T could not do on the phone.

I had zero issues this year on multiple phones (helped family members). Last year, a couple Verizon phones had problems, but they fixed it in store. Seems to be going way more smoothly than before.

I think AT&Ts servers were unprepared (again) for the launch day traffic. I waited until today to activate and it went fine.

I had this problem and took to ATT. Took over two hours to solve with multiple factory restorations and multiple e sims. He had to call his own tech support to get it to work

Not a smooth upgrade experience this year but glad we got it done
Did the ATT people tell you what that did that ended up working? I'm in the same boat and they were not able to do anything for me. Thanks.
