personally, I would have gone with another color. That envy green just reminded my of pea soup green with too many white keys. I'm pretty sure I saw either this company or others like it that were painting iPods, iPhones, and MacBooks, and as good as they looked close up they just looked "odd" to me and my wife. Might take some getting use to, but it's probably going to catch on down the road. I saw the ETCHaMac with some of their handy work on MacBooks, iPods and iPhones and I just cringed when I thought "suppose they want to return the item for an exchange or damaged screen," I guess they would have to get an exchange or swap of parts.

I just thought I would post some photos of my new Macbook that I just got from
http://www.colorwarepc.com

The computer is painted Envy Green and the paint job is perfect. I posted a while back my new iPhone done by Colorware because I felt that other than the website I was not finding any real world photos on the internet.

So here is the unboxing process and pictures of my old Macbook next to the new one. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask and I will try to respond.:)

That laptop is so goddamn beautiful, it's ridiculous. Congratulations!

Can't believe I'm saying this but that would look loads better if they painted a black macbook.

Is this the only place that can paint them? Im just curious if this is a specialty or if someone that does airbrushing or something can paint them as well??

Thanks!
