Well, it appears to come only with the smaller iPhone power adapter, at least here in the USA, based upon SlashGear's unboxing.

I suppose you're right.
Considering it has a 16.3 Wh battery, charging it with the 5 Watt iPhone charger should theoretically take about 3h16m.
Charging the 42.5Wh battery in the 4th gen iPad with the 12W chargers should theoretically take about 3h30m.
So including the lower capacity charger with the Mini sounds about right... Charging it with the 12W could maybe reduce it to 2h30m or something, but I dunno if it indeed does.
Still would have loved it if they included the 12W... oh well... Just think how much more of these boxes fit on a pallet now with the smaller charger vs. the big one... environment wins (sort of) and customer doesn't really loose.
