Will be insane if Apple makes the iPhone 6s Plus keynote in the same week as the release date for this film...10/9/15

----------

Getting in line for the release of this movie will be insane...mostly with Apple fans and then scanning in their tickets through their Apple Watches. Only movie in which I feel like the majority of the film-going public to see this film on opening weekend will have an Apple Watch...

The actors will be fine. I'm most worried about Sorkin's script for this one. IDK why everyone seemed to love the Social Network, it was all about made-up, silly drama instead of the tech.

Scared this is just going to be pointless and/or made-up human drama with Apple as an afterthought.

Maybe because the amount of "tech" involved was so small? At the time of the film it was at hobbist level of software development. A film on Facebook is not a film on Nasa or the Manhattan project... Why FB succeeded had very little to do with tech and more about just catching a wave at the right time.

Hmmm....looks a little better than I thought. Might actually be good after all!

There is no way one can judge a movie based purely on a teaser trailer. Possibly from a full trailer, but defintely not from a teaser. I will judge this movie from when I see this film, too early to tell.

Physical resemblance doesn't matter too much as long as the acting is good and the story captures important aspects of Steve's life without enhancements.

I hope it dives into his human side. If this movie to succeed it should avoid all the mistakes that were done in the movie 'Jobs'.

I can't make heads or tails of this trailer ..... (tries to keep score of how many movies where up to)

I'm a Fassbender fan but no, this doesn't work for me. As for Woz, they had to cast someone whose played a stoned guy in all his past movies as the Silicon Valley tech wiz? When he said "you can't code" my brain instantly rebutted and said "neither can you!"

Be aware that this film is based on Isaacson book, so whatever you expect from this film should be adjusted to what was written in that book.

Anyone know where the script for this is? I have heard it is out there but can't find it anymore.

Fassbender is a great actor.
However he looks more like Bill Gates than Jobs which is hard to look past.

The movie is not made for Apple nerds. When you think of Oskar Schindler, do you think of Liam Neeson or this man?

Edit: I admit that I didn't know what the real Schindler looked like until I wikipediaed him

So Jobs is played by someone who looks nothing like Steve Jobs and sounds nothing like Steve Jobs. In addition, we have countless hours of footage of the genuine article in keynotes and interviews.

This movie reminds me of the Apple Watch: a solution in search of a problem.

Hopefully this will be better than Jobs the movie, as others have said. Hopefully they will also touch on iPhone and other things before Steve died.
