I am excited as this film looks as if it is going to portray Jobs in a far more accurate light than 2013's movie. He is more a ******** in this trailer, with clear references to him abandoning Lisa and how he mistreated his employees.
An accurate portrayal is just making him an *******? That's one of the the problems that 2013 jOBS had.

To be fair they got trinkets to what would have been the mother of all patents. Kinda like how we gave beads to the Native Americans for the US.

Ok, then say that Xerox management was short-sighted, or lousy at making deals, or that Jobs lucked into a nugget, but even so, that's a long way from " stolen.

Fassbender may be a good actor, but he is more a "smart-guy"-type... the younger Jobs looked more like a lazy type of guy i guess. For me that makes him an inappropriate choice for this movie. in many Scenes he looked way to classy and stylish (hairstyle, Suit....)

once again.. i really liked the first "Jobs" movie with kutcher...

I had the impression that it was authentic and that's all that matters to me

Does that bloke suppose to be Jobs? Nothing like him. And just because he's good actor doesn't mean that he can be anybody. Ok, at least Jobs isn't played by Will Smith. Hollywood, hollywood, holly....wood...

It´s a movie not a masquerade, grow up!

Then why do people (especially the general public who has seen Jobs as much or as little as they have Zuckerberg) care about what Jobs looks like?

Cult of personality. Zuckerberg doesn't have that.

Jobs' look, voice, and mannerisms are something that a much larger portion of the general public are aware of.

I have seen Mark Zuckerberg more than once and it takes me a minute to recall what he looks like. Cannot recall his mannerisms or voice.

That may be it.

What this movie really needed was a guy who could "become" the character in some manner. I'm not feeling it with this trailer.

Another issue is that we've had two movies about Jobs already with actors who matched Jobs in looks, cadence, etc.

I'm not really sure it's that much different with Jobs when it comes to the more general public.

I dunno. If we were in a time machine and went back to 2007, I would agree.

I do think, due to the success of the iPhone, more people know what he looked and sounded like.

Facebook is successful amongs more than a billion that is actually on it and way more that at least know about it. Again amongst the general public I'm not sure the image of one over the other is all that instilled in their minds.

I love Michael as an actor but I can't get over how little he looks like or even reminds me of Steve. I am curious to see how he pulls off the role. This movie looks so much better than the awful Ashton Kutcher movie despite the fact that I hate that douchebag Seth Rogan.

FB may be, but Zuckerberg is NOT.

Calm down. Sheesh, some people have a boner for Fassbender. When a movie is about a real person, it's much more believable when the actor looks at least a little like the person. It's distracting when they don't. Just a fact.

(I bet this audience won't get my hashtag joke, lol)

The best one was the first one with Justin Long. It really captured the spirit of the moment. Plus the scene where Justin playing Steve is criticizing the actor play Justin was priceless.

plus it was awesome how they built computers with hammers and saws and stuff.

He looks alright as Older Steve. Unrecognizable elsewhere. Could they at least have dyed his hair?

steve does not look like steve, woz does not look like woz. this is a recipe of success

Here we go again with this PARC Xerox ridiculous myth. This movie is all bout generating profits. To maximize profits, the producers will jettison "accuracy or facts" for "fiction". Do a search "PARC scientist Larry Tesler recalls Jobs' famous Xerox visits" to get a real idea of what really happened.

Is it just me, or does the dialog seem to try to fit the myth and not the man? I find the dialog to be very pretentious, even for the myth. Seems like the great Sorkin went overboard with this one.
