Bumping - anyone have any news on their late-changing order status?

No news until we can call them tomorrow. My status went from Processing to "Attention: Valid Credit card, call or we cancel in 7 days, etc etc" on Thursday.

I talked to them 2 times on Thursday, and 2 times on Friday, and everyone I talked to said everything was fine, and the last one even said that her Premier computer said that the second attempt on my card had been processed fine and that the "Attention" message should clear up in 12 hours at maximum.

Of course, it's since been 2 days, they're closed, American Express says they haven't even tried to put through an authorization, and my status still says "Attention."

At this point I think it's very doubtful my order will ship for delivery on the 24th. If I didn't have concerns about my Premier discounts applying if I pick up an iPhone 4 in-store, I'd be doing that. Just sitting tight, expecting to get it the week of the 28th at best.

I'll def. be calling the Premier support line tomorrow at 8:00AM sharp. Leave it to AT&T to leave its customers confused, nervous, and anxious -- just like how they feel whenever they make a phone call. Well, at least the anxious part...

My order status indicates that it was ordered on June 15th -- no weird changes in time or date. My Amex card seems to have a hold on it as well for the amount of the purchase.

Hoping I'll be able to get it on Thursday, Friday at the latest. Sitting here on my father's iMac writing this reply on this thread on Father's Day has made me realize that maybe it doesn't really matter that much in the scheme of things.

But it's cool to see that there are other people out there having this issue too. We shouldn't have to do this to ensure that we are delivered the product we were promised on the day it was promised. Doesn't seem like it should be that hard.
 
i just dont get how people who ordered during the day on the 15th are getting their phones shipped already ahead of ppl who ordered bright and early on that day ( like me)


no kind of consistency in th ordering process and i do no trust what these att reps/ supervisors say at all:mad:

Same boat. Was fine until Saturday morning when the status went from 'Processing' to 'Attention'. Called the regular AT&T CS # this morning (Sunday) and they had no idea what I was talking about since they couldn't find my order and couldnt connect me to the Premier people with them being closed. There haven't been ANY $1 charges to my debit card which is what I used to pay for the phone via the Premier website. However, there are a litany of pending $1 charges (from Apple, not AT&T) on my CC that is connected to my Apple Store account. :confused:

I'd like to call at 8am too, but it probably won't be until later in the day since I get off work at 5am CDT. If I didn't have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow afternoon (I need sleep in there somewhere!!), I'd stay up the two hrs to make the call at 7am CDT. Hopefully, people in here will have some more answers come tomorrow. I'm getting slightly anxious that I won't see my iPhone on the 24th either. :mad:
 
Just got off the phone with AT&T Premier service.

They told me the reason my order was in "Attention" status was because I had ordered two new phones the same line. This is completely false, as I clearly ordered a second line of service, but for some reason the two new phones were processed as being for a single line.

The customer service rep admitted that this was most likely a system error that caused this problem. The only way to get my order out of "Attention" status was to cancel the second phone/order. Once this action was taken, I refreshed my order screen, and the second order for my wife's phone was immediately canceled, as if the guy had hit a button and the action was immediately applied.

However, my order for my already established line of service, was still in "Attention" mode, and it still is. I asked the rep why that was, and he said the "Attention Mode" would be removed within the next 6-12 hours. I may check again around noontime, and if it's still there, I'll call them back. But honestly I don't really care anymore.

As far as shipping goes, the customer service rep told me that "they were told that they'd be receiving the device on the 24th, and they would be shipped out and could be received by the 25th."

I wish I could give such ambiguous answers at my job, but that wouldn't fly for me. Regardless, not much I can do, and I'll be adding my second line to my account through Apple, not AT&T. As far as I'm concerned, this is literally the worst purchasing experience I've had in my life. What a cluster**** that shines badly on both AT&T .. AND Apple.

*Update* Added my canceled e-mail notification that is worded as if my whole order has been canceled, when in reality, one component of the order has been canceled -- the second phone.

Still not able to see my order on the main site

Any Premier folks who ordered on the 15th still not able to check their status on the main AT&T site? 8am ET order on the 15th, last updated on the 19th, and still nothing on the main site. Calling Premier results in a "your order will be processed in the next business day".
 
Can anyone even get through to Premier? They just hang up and say call back later when I call. I have a CC exception that I fixed an hour after it was flagged and no status changes.
 
I made 2-3 calls right before they started accepting calls this morning, to try and head off the masses, and was on hold for about 12-13 minutes before I talked to someone. I found out that my port is the problem - I have prepaid service and don't have a monthly bill or account number, that I knew of. I called the provider and they told me where to find my account number - unfortunately I had to get off the phone with AT&T while I did that. When I called back there were so many people on hold they hung up on me probably 7 times before they finally let me sit on hold. I don't know how long I'd been on hold before they picked up, maybe 30 minutes. KEEP TRYING if they hang up on you!

I am on hold again while Premier talks to the people in the Port department. Hopefully they can fix the problem and my status will turn back to Processing! I have not slept well or been to the gym in a week. It's sad that a "silly phone" can do this HAHA. It's my first iphone and I'm excited to be able to use it to the fullest. I asked the first person I talked to if she thought I'd receive the phone on the 24th and she really didn't know. They are overwhelmed with orders and problems.

Well just damn - now that they have my account number the Port department isn't showing a port request. WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!

Just got of Premier Customer Svc

I am new here but I am a regular follower.

Ordered mine at 2AM PST on 6/15 on Premier. However, order date on attwireless shows 17th. CC charged.

My premier status still shows processing and attwireless.com status shows 101. After :30 minute wait, I finally spoke with the premier rep and she said that my orders (2 iphones for me and my wife) is complete and ready for shipping. I told her that attwireless.com shows that it's on backordered and she confirmed it's not. I even asked if there were CC issues and she said none since it's complete. No tracking until it actually ships and she couldn't tell me when it will ship.

At this point, I am just waiting and not going to let the web status concern me. After reading many posts, existing orders are out of our control. We just have to wait.
 
Another "processing" to "attention" status here.

I'm a new customer and in the process of porting my number from verizon through the business premier site.

I tried calling the AT&T premier number (866-499-8008) but I get an automated voice telling me they're backed up and it hangs up on me. Had to call the regular 800 number and have a representitive patch me through.

I've been on hold for about 30 minutes now, even left my office to grab lunch and when I got back...still on hold lol.

Will update when I get through. Credit card has not been charged yet...

Hopefully this ends well.
 
Alright, had to hang up with Premier AGAIN because of the port problem. I had 2 options - cancel the preorder or call my prepaid provider AGAIN for help porting the number to AT&T. So I am on hold with my prepaid provider now. I think they are talking to their port department... they are telling me to call AT&T AGAIN to tell THEM to submit the port. ACK!

PLEASE if you do not have the Attention! label DO NOT CALL Premier. I actually need to talk to them and sort this out. :mad:

My phone is low on minutes and I don't want to put $20 more into it and my husband's battery life stinks (yes, he left his home so I could use it to clear all this up). I got through to sit on hold after 1 failed attempt this time. Maybe I'll only be on hold for a short time now.
 
Oh my god, AT&T are idiots. Since late friday night (after the call center closed) my call status has been "We need more information to process your order" - something the regular AT&T rep couldn't help me with over the weekend. So I finally call and after about 35 minutes on hold, she says "It looks like they haven't made a decision on your credit yet because we need more information from you, let me put you on hold while i get with our credit department to figure this out."

so I wait on hold another 10 minutes. She gets back on the line.

"OK, it looks like we approved your account for the two phones with a 0 dollar deposit, so I'll get your order pushed through for priority processing...and that will ship out on the 24th or 25th, but we'll e-mail you to let you know for sure."



um. I had to call you and wait 30 minutes so you could get NO further information from me and tell me that my credit was approved? Thanks geniuses...
 
Just got off the phone, should be all set.

I'm in NYC and I'm trying to port my Boston number so my order did not match up in the system.

Normally, they would cancel my order and create an entire new one but since the iPhone 4 is suspended with AT&T, they simply altered my original order.

I asked him if I was still going to get my phone on Thursday and he said "yes, anyone who pre-ordered on the early stage of June 14th should get their phone on Thursday".

Hopefully I'll be ok.
 
Just got a shipment notification e-mail from ATT Premiere and the Premiere status has been updated.

Hold times as of 730am pst are about 25 minutes. I'm currently on the line with perhaps the least knowledgable CSR I've talked to yet.
 
Things MIGHT be looking up. I was on hold with AT&T Premier with my husband's phone and got a call from AT&T's Port department person on MY phone - so nice to feel cared for after all this crap. 2.5 hours on the phone!

They have sent the port request to my current provider and now we just wait. They said it takes about 24 hours; however, my current provider said they were just sitting there waiting and would accept the port right away.

They did not guarantee that I'll get the phone on the 24th but they thought that since I did get a preorder in before they stopped accepting them, that I was as good as it gets. Here's hoping!!

It still says "Attention!" on my order status but hopefully here in the next little while it will change back to "Processing."

Whew! Now I can go about my day. On to the gym to get all my frustrations out!
