I could see ipod shuffle and nano updated along with iphone5, but do not expect ipod touch to be updated along with iphone5. Reason is touch cannibalizes iphone sales. Apple always staggers those product
They've already staggered the iPod Touch for two years now, that A4 processor and 256MB RAM is pretty weak these days.
iPod Touch is a different market than the iPhone. I doubt anyone really looking into the iPhone is thinking about getting the iPod Touch instead.
Rather the iPod Touch is marketed for people like me that already have a suitable phone and just want a iOS device or for people too young/irresponsible to pay for and own an iPhone.

So with all the parts leaking for the iphone, and well... nothing for any other product, do people think it's realistic to expect a plethora of new devices?
iPad mini, we haven't seen so much as a case design.
Well the iPod Touch may be sharing the iPhone components, its not too unrealistic for these parts to go under the radar. I mean the outside casing doesn't even have to necessarily change just the front or perhaps (unlikely) the iPod Touch design is identical to the iPhone subtract the cellular support.
Besides the iPods aren't Apple's babies anymore, the iPhone and iPad devices are. There is more interest with the iPhone leaks, iPad leaks than there are with iPod leaks.
I'm pretty sure there were supposed leaks of the shell design for the iPad Mini a few months ago but yeah there isn't much leaks happening on that front which makes one wonder that either the product may not be happening at all or Apple has successfully kept it on the down low.
I remember last year there were a bizillion rumors of the iPhone getting a bigger screen, yet when it was all said and done what we got was just a iPhone 4 version 2.

Truth be told the biggest "want" from the iPod line for me is capacity updates.
Classic has maxed out at 160GB for 5 years now
Nano has maxed out at 16GB for 4 years now
Touch has maxed out at 64GB for 3 years now
Shuffle actually was downgraded with the latest update from 4GB to 2GB, still didn't understand this one unless size was a issue.
...
You can't possibly tell me that flash prices (nano/touch/shuffle) are the same price as they were at least 3 years ago. I see no reason why the touch isn't at 128GB (save for trying to push customers to that lame iCloud service) or that the iPod Nano isn't at least 32GB.
