Hmm...store is down, too. A bit earlier than I expected, but I guess we all knew this was coming. :)

(On a related note, surely they have a way to update it without taking the whole thing down, but I guess it prevents people from buying something that's going to be updated minutes or hours later.)

Dude!!!!!

If you search iPad mini....

It's deliberate - builds up hype.

If it's "new iTunes" I hope it's finally some software that does not suck.

I think some people do not understand what a CEO does...

It's called new iTunes and has a new design that mimics the look of a sheet of paper with the Albums you own on CD written on it. But no other features. :D

This is one war that Apple can't win, Amazon have a major foothold in this area. What it will result in is better prices for the consumer.

Actually with the direction Amazon is attempting to go, they are the ones who it seems won't be able to win. Not making any margins on the hardware and being dragged into a price war with Apple on ebooks isn't helping their new "make money on the content" strategy at all.

Maybe make sure products don't leak? Maybe do what they had been doing before and "double down on secrecy"? anyone? yes? no?

If you look at the iTunes Store right now you'll notice that Fox and it's sister network FX have been removed from the main page of the TV Shows section.

Could just be a mistake but it makes me wonder if they have lost Fox like they lost NBC years ago.

Oh I get it, thats what I was saying, that the focus is not on what most people are complaining about. But theses "link leaks" wouldn't have been extra energy. To make them public like this would have to be on purpose wouldnt it? From a coding/webdesign/server/whatever standpoint?

I guess - I suppose they wanted all this up and ready to go when the time rolls around and, at this point, it makes so little difference there was no need to fuss about people finding the page names and what have you. If it's an accident the damage is trivial and if it's on purpose then it makes little difference anyway.

Who agrees that, if his Steveness would be still with us, some heads would be chopped off... I miss good ol' spoiler free times... ;)

Completely agree, Tim should use his frigg'n laser beams!

(It's fun with Photoshop day)

If they don't announce the iMac...there are going to be a lot of unhappy prosumers.
