Run SilentKnight, (https://eclecticlight.co/lockrattler-systhist/) the Security Update 2021-001 Mojave update will be shown.
The 001 update took about 15 min. The system profile now shows "macOS 10.14.6 (18G8012)".
The 002 update also took about 15 min. The system profile now shows "macOS 10.14.6 (18G8022)".
No issues so far. iMac 2012 internal SSD 128GB, external Crucial 500GB SSD

Same here, so far no issues with 2021-001.

BootROM was updated, and the update also seemed to fix an issue introduced with 2020-005 where DiskWarrior 5.1 kept complaining that my system was corrupted in some way.

It was complaining right up until I ran this update, now it just proceeds to the disk selection screen without complaint.

I had written to Alsoft about it but they were convinced that my system was flummoxed. I'll tell them the 2021 update fixed it..

Hello, thanks for your feedback.
Any change regarding the File Attachment issue in Safari (14.0.1 and later)?
I hope this is solved.

Hosed and had to CMD-R reinstall. Multiple reboots didn't help. MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)

What's the current situation with regard to update nag level with the latest update?

Somewhere along the line, I hesitated and fell off the update train when Apple removed the ability to ignore major OS updates, then, with the ugliness of the pulled updates, supplemental patches, and Safari issues, never got back on.

With 2021-001 warning of active exploits, it's probably time to hop back on.

I didn’t have any issues with 006-2020 or 007-2020, so I don’t anticipate any here.

Mr. Macintosh was a great source for the troubled Mojave security updates last year, but now he’s consumed with Big Sur, so I kind of feel on my own. But confident.

What we should install first? Security update or safari 14.0.3?
Or it is irrelevant?

Just afraid to repeat a security 005 issue...

Thanks!

I am not sure that it really matters. I did the Security Update 2021-001 first. After completion, then I updated Safari. No problems so far.

EDIT: To add update number since the thread title changed to include 2 different updates. 🙁

I haven’t seen the prompt to update yet, but after the 2020-007 with Safari 14.02 broke the file attachment in Safari, I’m going to sit this one out... I installed the Safari 14.03 beta a couple weeks ago so file attachments are working again )only took like 6 weeks to fix 😠)

The security update failed the first time for my (MBA 2018) but the second attempt without an issue. Also installed safari 14.0.3, very glad the attach file function is working again!
As always, make a backup before installing updates 😅

Just did the zero day Mojave 10.14.6 update on my Mac Pro 5.1 now my midi is gone (usb). All the midi in my audio midi set up is greyed out. No Midi in protools Ableton or cubase. Been at this for a few hours it seems to be a apple bug. Anyone else have it?

update
I had the keyboard going into a multi usb box. Guess it doesn't like it. working now on direct usb input.

Oddly, after applying the update, my '19 iMac now emits the startup sound, at low volume!

And, unlike in Big Sur, there's no user-facing UI pref.

I'm undecided on whether to keep it, but if I don't, I guess I'll have to resort to terminal and hope that works.
