UPS says my iPhone will arrive tomorrow

I'd be excited. But not too much. The early delivery days are pretty much over. Thats way the UPS page says "4 days left". It's shipping overnight but being held until thurs. maybe, just maybe yours slipped through the cracks and you'll have it tomorrow.
I'm content for friday. Although I want to hold it in my hands, the best part of this whole thing is the anticipation & excitement we all have right now. Itll all be over Friday. Kinda like Xmas eve when u were a kid. You wanted xmas to come, but once it came all that excitement was gone.

If your tracking has some setting that is making yours show 4 days left, I'm guessing it's more accurate and the guy you spoke to is missing something. If your's had showed tomorrow, and he confirmed, then I might be a bit more optimistic.
I am also in this situation with a phone departing a US location today and overnight shipping. I am also not holding my breath, but it would be pretty sweet. For the record my order is a 16gb Black / Slate AT&T
Why the hell would you call? If anything they will realize what happened and you wont get it until friday.
Ups and FedEx will be glad to let some of these packages be delivered early. It helps them meet their shipping commitment by spreading the deliveries out over several days. They chalk it up as a mistake, several thousand people will be ecstatic to get their phones ahead of time, hundreds of thousands of people will be jealous of those few who got their phones early and life goes on.
Mine has shown an "Origin Scan" in Addison, IL since Saturday night (UPS Next Day Air Saver as well). It won't move until Thursday same as yours.
Because that's how it works every year. The phones trickle in to their various destination cities over the course of the week, and then sit on hold until the scheduled delivery date.
There are occasional exceptions, but for the most part the shipping companies stick to the hold order.
Odds are, you'll see the following tomorrow morning "DELIVERY EXCEPTION: HOLD REQUESTED".
I agree, the sender can request a hold on the package until a certain date. Apple do that for all pre-orders of new products.

You should have signed up for UPS MyCHoice. You get an email from them the day or 2 before when any packaged with your address hits their system. They give you the date and time window they expect it to be delivered.
My phone is in the exact same situation. I doubt I'll get it early, but like you said, it would be pretty sweet.
We have the same departure scan. Are you in GA?

This guy will have a fully paid-for iPhone by tomorrow if in fact it comes. I for one hope it comes, would love to see how much he gets from strangers on the internet.
