UPS Shipping Notification?

Even if your right it has to say preparing to ship very soon if coming from China

As for the Sport watch it's about 1/4 of the weigh of an iPhone 6. I am sure the little accessories don't weigh that much to double the shipping weigh of an iPhone 6.

I would not over read into that, the classes are open for people expecting the watches as well, so people who do not have it yet but have them ordered will come to these classes to.

I wouldn't call it baseless.. Someone obviously printed a shipping label for me. The only two things I have on order are the Apple Watch and Pebble Time. Pebble doesn't have a confirmed release date other than "May".

I'm not getting my hopes up but it has to be one or the other. Considering the OP didn't mention a Pebble Time and the fact we got an email this morning from UPS MyChoice leans me to believe it's from Apple. On the other hand... the fact it's a sure post shipment is kind of strange.

UPS may have let the cat out of the bag early. I haven't been charged yet but I suppose that wouldn't stop them from getting the shipping labels ready.

i wish you could stand with you on that but its byob .... it says bring your own apple watch and along with your iphone and we'll show you on how to use it...
 
for my iPhone 6 i saw nothing until 3 days before Friday and it just said preparing to ship. I thought it would never make it but what happened is that it came from a Pennsylvania depot location so it never should anything because it would only take 1 day from there to get to me.
They could be doing the same with the watch....the shipments could already be arriving in the US at depots waiting for shipping labels....

My bad on the weight of the Watch. I dunno. I suppose it would just depend on weight of the magnetic charger, and the multiple sport band pieces. But I see your point, the weight may be too high after all.

Don't forget the weight of the actual packaging. The leaked unboxing showed these in a pretty hefty jewelry style box.

I don't see how either item could weigh with packaging 1.6 lbs. That's a lot of weight for a watch package.

EDIT: I still can't image Apple using UPS Surepost/FedEx Smartpost.

Dimensional weight is less than one pound for for a watch shipment unless the plastic box is REALLY heavy. I imagine it's the same material the 5C box is made of.

Unless someone is mailing the OP and myself a time bomb it's either the apple watch or pebble time. He didn't order a pebble time so that just leaves one option left. :)

Again, I got a shipping notification from UPS MyChoice. The instant they detect a shipping label printed for my name and address, they email me. A shipping label doesn't mean it has actually shipped. It's just an intent to ship an item. I still have be charged but chances are, the wheels are in motion.

This is also good news if it's the apple watch seeing as I am supposedly in the 4-6 week window. It would mean their production is ahead of schedule and folks could get theirs earlier.

Yeah I know, that's how UPS works as opposed to FedEx. With UPS you never get excited until you see a pickup or origin service center scan.

It's possible. I know when I ordered my original iPad the label was created a couple of weeks before the iPad was consolidated into one big shipment.

Hope you get it faster than 4 weeks.

I'm in the 28 April -8 May window(42mm milanese).

Yes. You "two" did post a "screenshot" of a purported UPS delivery. That's it. No indication it's from Apple.

Also, am I supposed to believe that for now, over an hour, only you and one other person out of the thousands of pre-orders on this forum and Twitter, have received an email? Really? Two out of potentially millions?

ALSO, you aren't even in the first Apple Watch batch. What makes you think you would get your watch before tons of people on this forum? Or are apple just picking name out of a hat now?

Move on folks. Nothing to see here.

I don't think that would matter. The way UPS MyChoice works is by monitoring your address for shipping activity. As soon as someone prints a label in my name, they let me know something is headed my way. Of course, like I mentioned earlier, printing a label is one thing.. it still has to get an origin scan from UPS indicating it's actually in their network and physically moving towards my home :).
