Perhaps we're two from a handful of folks who use the UPS MyChoice service? I haven't heard anyone say they use the service and haven't received an email.
Not trying to troll at all. I just received an unexpected shipping email from UPS and was curious as to if that was the sort of service Apple used and if others received the same email. I realize that this could be for a completely different package (as I have mentioned multiple times in this thread) but I don't know what else it could be. It would be cool if this was the beginning of the shipping process, but I am not saying it definitely is.

I have ups my choice as well and haven't recieved anything. Ordered a 42mm SS with black sport band, also I ordered at 3:03 eastern time.
Exactly. And I felt the need to back you up here seeing as I got the same notification as far as I know, the apple watch is the only item we have in common we're waiting on. Apple may very well be printing shipping labels ahead of time and using Metro Custom Brokers as their international shipping partner seeing as they're likely shipping direct from the factory in China.

I use UPS MyChoice and haven't gotten anything, however I just checked my notification settings and I was only getting notifications for Day Before Delivery and Delivery Schedule Updates. I don't remember selecting these options, so perhaps that is default? I changed my notification settings to include Shipment, so I guess I'll wait and see if I get anything from them. I ordered the 42mm Space Grey Sport at 2:03:11 Central time.
apple doesn't need an international shipping partner.... they have contracts directly with UPS and fedex
I don't think it's shipped, Apple would of gotten your money already. There a business, they would charge before they ship. Especially if you just canceled your card while it was in transit, you basically got a free Apple Watch
For what it's worth,I hope it's the watch. If anything,it sure is interesting reading all this while at work. I wish I had a mystery package coming
I wouldn't be so sure about this. There have been numerous reports of people receiving their iPhones without being charged.
Some would get charged at a later date and some wouldn't get charged at all.
It would not say it's coming from some non-Apple company. Apple has very close relationships with UPS and FedEx, there would be simply no reason to have some other source in there. Add to that the excessive weight and the wrong day of delivery (even if it did accidentally deliver early, Apple requires their shippers to hold back packages until the requested delivery date.)
It's not the Apple Watch.
I honestly think it has a better chance of being the Pebble, but, just as likely it's something A) completely made up by a newbie troll or B) something these newbie posters both ordered and forgot about. Perhaps a watch stand? I dunno. No time to go digging through this whole thread for that answer.
Still, it would be just fine with me if I was wrong. But, the evidence against this supposition of early delivery is rather massive.
The way banks and credit cards work is that you're still liable for any incoming charges for 45 days after cancellation. The bill is then sent to your address. If not paid, it's reported to debt collectors.
1) The 23rd is a an estimate. This should obviously change if it's the watch.
2) My short tenure in the forums doesn't automatically make me a troll... Were you a troll when you joined? Just saying.
3) I have nothing on order other than the Apple Watch and Pebble Time. The OP didn't mention he has a time on the way.
4) If I'm wrong, I'll be happy to admit it. It's fun to speculate in the mean time though.
Honestly, it's hard to believe this whole thing but since this thread already has 122 posts, it's officially 100% legit.
Which is why FED EX lost out, they accidentally delivered the iPhones a day early to some people.
This statement reminded me of watching Interstellar when time while on the planet slows and time in the ship orbiting the planet flies by.
It's exactly how I feel since my order completed at 03:05.
My guess is my settings are default as well. Where on ups did you go to change the settings? I click my settings and just sends me to a tracking page.
