All set for 9/19 ISPU. In at 5:01 and done at 5:02. Used the View your iPhone link from the "You're Ready" e-mail to open the Store app. iPP was first in between laptop web page and 16PM Store app. Good Luck everyone! Seeing a lot of 9/25 deliveries - hope it's a glitch. I went in again at 5:15 and tried making a new order. Delivery by shipment showed 9/19. Something is going on with the orders for shipment.

Edit - My confirmation e-mail and text message came in within the same minute of 5:02 PDT.

Deep Blue Pro Max 256GB that was pre-ordered with Apple Upgrade and completed at 8:02AM shows my delivery at 9/25 but I can literally order one right now at 8:21AM and get it 9/19?? Has to be a glitch.

Same here — I keep checking and it’s still showing 9/19 delivery on the same phone!

Queue eventually brought me in on iPhone. Then order was set to ship to arrive on the 25th. I wanted to use a local store anyway, so I managed to get my second choice location to arrive on the 19th. So, I have a Black Ultra 3 arriving at one Apple Store on the 19th at 2:00, and then pick up scheduled for a blue Pro 1TB for pickup at 4:00 at another Apple Store about 30 minutes away. Oh yeah, and Tech Woven case for pickup on Wednesday. 🤷‍♂️

My confirmation email is at :02, so my order went in about :01, delivery iPhone air 256, delivery 9/25. If it holds it will give me a chance to go by store after initial rush and check out the phone and see if I really want it.

People getting Air are reporting 19th. I'm getting Air as well, but picking up.

512GB Air 9/25 delivery.
256GB Air 9/19 in store (placed 5 minutes after 512GB).

I finally made my decision this morning, I was seriously considering the iPhone Air because of the smaller size and weight.

I ended up ordering the 256 Pro Max in blue, managed somehow to get in about 6:01 MT. I'm picking up in store, and could have chosen pretty much any time for pickup on the 19th.

Wtf? The app took forever to open. Didn't open until 8:10. They did not "bring me in for preorder" but only did once I refreshed the app several times and then there was no launch day availability at the store. Mobile browser, firefox, edge, all had the same issue but somehow people are able to order at 8:01?

Double WTF…Was going to coordinate pickup times with my coworker but they coworker opted for store delivery. When the app first opened it was showing no Apple Store pickup availability at all so they opted for home delivery. I gave up and checked again in a couple mins and then suddenly there was 9/19 Apple Store pickup availability that wasn't showing before.

I've been buying iPhones since the 3G, upgrading almost every year. So I've tried it both ways a lot of times. If I order for delivery, I'm sitting around the house all day waiting for the delivery person to come, hoping I don't miss them or they show up when I'm in the shower or something. I may end up waiting all day and get the phone at 6PM. Or I pick it up in store at exactly the time I want (8AM on launch day in this case) and go on with my day.

I got in right away 5:03 Pacific time 17PM Blue 256, but chose pickup for Sunday the 21st but I will not be able to get till the 28th. The website did get stating you have 7 days to pick up so hopefully my order will still be there on the 28th when I get back in town. I thought about waiting to order but it could get back ordered out till late October. SO keeping my fingers crossed I can still pick it up the 7 days later.

No way after 3 min in, the base 17 slipped or me getting a 25th delivery date. Don’t get it. I still see 19th if I go and try and order a new one… so what is happening?

Literally stated delivery was next Friday and now on two orders it’s 9/25. lol.

I wouldn’t mind a pickup but you need to do data transfer and leave your old phone if IUP. Forget that.

I've heard that you can choose not to return the phone at the store right away. As long as you return your old phone within the ~2 week timeframe then you will be fine

I submitted my order, but noticed afterwards I put the street and not the actual business number, and the street number is 1 digit off but on a main road by the actual business I shipped the phone to. Will UPS still be able to locate the right address if I put the business name and suite number? I don’t want to resubmit my order.

Have UPS hold it and go pick it up if possible

Yes you can. You can even bring it in later after your purchase (but there is a time limit, forgot how long but at least 7 days) for a post-purchased trade in. The trade in credit will be applied to your purchase and you receive a partial refund, instead of a gift card.

some of us live near a Apple Store, Plus if you getting any thing else its more convent to pick up

And if it ships via UPS you avoid the problem that they skip delivery if you are there and inability to specify hold for pickup.

I was debating til the last minute but went with the air because that form factor is just too appealing and when I look at how I use my phone it's 95% web browsing and messages. I play games on consoles and PC and for phone gaming only do word or puzzle games so the Air should be powerful enough for my uses.

I go on vacation the 23rd so I didn't want the possibility of not getting the new phone on launch day if shipping was delayed. (seems like a good call based on some of the 9/25 delivery dates - - but thinking that delay should resolve itself back to 9/19 when things settle down)

Because Apple completely **** the bed this year and the shipping dates only showed 9/25, if you want it on release day they forced store pickup. Wonderful, now I get to drive all the way out to the Apple Store while praying that my Airpods don't get delivered and stolen in the meantime. Fun fun fun. Huge thumbs down on their pre-order nonsense this year. Whoever thought up this "wait in the queue" process deserves a gut punch.

Got in at 8:05am ordered a 512GB Pro Max Deep Blue. Pick up at Apple Store 9/19. Those pick windows go fast. It rejected the first 2 windows it offered when I tried to pay.
