So stupid. I too preordered a silver pro 1TB and got a 9/25 delivery date. I tried to go back and order it regularly and it says 9/19, but when you add it to the bag it changes to 9/25 as well. Guess I’ll just keep my original order and hope it get bumped up

If I did a pickup in store, am I able to request a shipping box for the trade-in? I was in a rush to get the pickup on 9/19 at least, and I didn't see an option for the trade in to send in the phone.
 
Ordered! That was a bit more hectic than it’s been in previous years. Got stuck on the holding page for 10 minutes, then my pre-selected carrier line had some issue so I essentially had to rebuild my order. The good thing is when I rebuilt the order I was able to get in store pick up on the 19th instead of delivery on the 25th!

Excited to be back again after a three year hiatus from the pre-order craziness! Is it too soon to pull up FlightAware?

Me too. I went with the Cloud White which is beautiful. They all were nice, Blue was my 2nd choice.

Shocked we couldn't trade In the s25 series for the iPhone? I had to take the full price hit until I sell the Sammy 😳 (512 Pm Cosmic Orange 9/24)
 
I got in at 8:03 am and delivery for Sept 25th...I'm really hoping that I still get launch day. I know it's happened to me before - I guess the Silver 17 Pro Max with 512 GB was very popular
 
How strict are they with the time-slot? I have 1:00PM - 1:15PM

If i don’t make it exactly on time, do they still let you in to get it?

I do in store because of the trade in; I hate sending my trade in and worrying about it being stolen en route or by someone at the trade in facility (you hear too many horror stories). This way I can give the Apple Store employee my trade in without any worries. It also doesn't hurt that I live relatively close to an Apple Store (less than 5 miles).

Same thing here with the same color and size phone. I think it’s a glitch cause when I processed mine (8:03) it said not available for pickup and delivery date of 9/25, I went ahead with the order I’m sure the date will move up. However if I try now that phone is available for pickup and has a release day delivery date.

Got my order in at 8:08 eastern for a 17 Pro 256gb and delivery of 9/25 :confused: first time I've missed release day delivery since being on the iPhone Upgrade Program

Same exact for me too!

First order went in and got delivery 9/25.
Second order went in 5 minutes after and got in store pickup 9/19.

Wonder if Apple is saying they prefer if you pickup from the Apple store ?
 
Local store had Fri the 19th available so just picked that. Have to drive about an hour and half but guarantees the 19th vs the subjective 25th.
