Ordered the Air 256GB Sky Blue around 7:00 AM pacific time along with the bumper case. I just checked the UPS app and 2 tracking numbers popped up but it's saying they have no information as they are not in the system yet.

That's because your items do not have a tracking number yet - as soon as it's loaded onto a pallet you will see the tracking update. That won't happen until Monday at the earliest.

I might have to email Tim because mine has not changed since 3 minutes past 5am yesterday - still stuck at 9/25 - wonder if mine is coming from India instead of China ??

SMH - can't believe I get treated like this - pre-authorized payment, pre-bagged, chose the accessories and then get screwed.

All the while my backup order (ISPU) is 9/19.

Worst case scenario, your phone arrives on 9/25. It’s a phone.

That was your choice, nobody forced or told you to do that. Or you could have be patient, Apple corrected the issue in less than 12 hours. 🤷‍♂️

I've been ordering iPhones as soon as they go live for the past 7 years, never had this issue, its not a big deal I get it but if I've known it was just a glitch I would've picked delivery.

End of the day, Apple doesn’t/hasn’t ever provided a specific day unless it is a release date. In all other cases, they provide a date range.

At end of day, getting your order in early doesn’t guarantee a release day delivery. Look at this board, happens every year.

Relax. Apple is very dependable at getting your item to you on the day promised. I have been though too many new iPhone cycles to get excited anymore. Love to watch everyone freaking out. Just relax.

Emailing Tim Cook because you didn’t get 9/19 delivery when you ordered. 🤦‍♂️

Worst case scenario, it wasn’t a glitch and you would have waited a few more days for your phone.

It was a glitch and corrected by Apple in less than 12 hours. Those 9/25 orders were always going to arrive on release day. You know how I know? Apple doesn’t provide a specific date if it’s not on release day. If it isn’t release day, you get a range. I.E. Oct 1- Oct 5

Well mine still says 9/25 so, can’t really say that for certain.

If I missed others replying about this sorry, just curious if anyone thinks the 40w power adapter from apple is worth getting or do you have other suggestions? I wish they’d include that with the phone honestly but oh well.

Here you go. This is from a couple of years ago so maybe some things have changed-grain of salt.
If your phone status has changed to "Shipped", you can view the invoice on the Apple site.

That invoice has the serial number on it.

Go to Apple.com, then pick the ORDERS page (the little "shopping bag" icon at the far right on the home page... go to your orders page). Now, log in, and find your iPhone order... and click on Print All Invoices to see your shiny new iPhone serial number.

You can look up the week of manufacture and factory here, using the serial number:

If your phone number isn’t working for UPS tracking, use your order number but subtract the last 2 numbers. Say your order number is: W123456789, you'd put in: W1234567 - make sure to use the tracking by reference feature.

When you see the time that your flight leaves China (make sure that the UPS or FedEx info is showing it per China time, or do the math), and you can usually narrow it down

It's an art form. Using the FlightAware website, track UPS places from China > Incheon; Incheon > Anchorage; Anchorage > Louisville; Louisville > your location. You have to follow the tracking info and match your "departure" timestamp with the flight on FlightAware.

I remember doing this last time but don't seem to have the 'Print Invoices' option on Apple.com on desktop or mobile. Any other ways to find that?

I did pre-orders, too, every year up until 2019 (seasonal at Apple that year so I just picked it up in-store) and there is a weird new glitch every year. I got the 9/25 delivery date this year and chose in-store because I had blocked off Friday but didn't want it to be a mystery day the week after. This is the glitch a friend and I are experiencing now -- we already ordered but keep getting reminders from the app to complete the pre-order haha.

Well my Orange 256 PM said 9/25 and now has changed to 9/24-29 lol. A Silver 256 Pro did get updated to 9/19. No idea what's going on. Both ordered before 8:10 ET.

Screenshot? Did you order from Apple or a carrier? Phones ordered directly from Apple don't change to "Shipped" status until they clear customs in Louisville.

hi, all, i was wondering what's the status for pick-up in store after 20th September, currently in my region my config delivery dates are 2nd week of OCT next month, was wondering if the in-store pickup options be available later or should i go and order for oct delivery, would really appreaciate if any one can guide me on this.

It's been hit or miss over the years whether stores actually have stock for walk-ins on launch day and the days/weeks after. Very hard to predict. Best thing is to check stock very early in the morning every day.
