Unless last year when my 16 Pro got "lost" by UPS and never made a first day attempt on Friday.

I had to file a police report and finally it showed up at the local UPS distribution hub - retaped box of course...
I had a somewhat similar issue when returning my old phone to Apple for the upgrade program with FedEx. I gave them the shipment, but the tracking stopped updating for about a week at the distribution center right by Apple HQ. After multiple calls with Apple and FedEx (including Apple calling FedEx), they miraculously found my package hiding in the back of a truck trailer. I always make sure to write on or sign the plastic seals of the package to make sure it’s visible that it was opened after I shipped it now

Every year I’ve had my iPhone shipped to my house and either went to the main hub (closed down a couple years ago) or waited for it to be delivered. Unfortunately it seemed like the last couple years they’ve waited till late in the day to deliver mine, I think it was intentional 🤣. I’ve had a blast tracking all the different flights it would go on (helped pass the time during the week), but this year I chose to pick up in store. Is there any way to track the shipment if I’m picking up at the local Apple store?
Unfortunately, there’s not. We don’t get to participate in the tracking fun. 😭

Can you transfer current devices on AppleCare onto AppleCare One?
on iPhone, Settings>General>AppleCare, there it will say something about AppleCare One. I did it in the first couple days it was offered so don't remember the exact description.

Make sure the three devices monthly AppleCare cost adds up to more than $20 or you'll be paying more for them with the One plan.

Ok. Thanks. Well at least I got the first pickup time on Friday morning. Gonna be a loooong week though LOL
A long week till we have our 17 devices, but before you know it it'll be 2026 and we'll be talking about how long it'll be before delivery/pickup times for iPhone 18 in a week! lol

So true!! Next year will be insane with the iPhone Fold being developed currently.

2026 might be the year of the fold. But I think like the iPhone X there will be a delay in the release.

Great seeing everyone again for The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, haha!!

iPhone Air 1TB in Sky Blue for me this year. First time since XS Max I won’t be getting a Max iPhone. Really looking forward to thin and light.

Good luck to everyone in getting theirs on 09/19!!
Yes it’s Christmas time for us Apple nerds

I got my shipment moved from 9/25 to 9/19. Didn’t need to email Tim either.

I did, however, use a Labubu to channel the dark lords energy and reach out to Steve Jobs directly. Worked flawlessly! 🤣🤣🤣
The Labubu’s power doesn’t hold a candle to his reality distortion field.

I am very curious as to when the Apple Fold will come out also. Assuming that it does come out next year, I wonder if Apple will release the Fold along with the normal 18 lineup next September. I guess I always just assumed that Apple would want to make the Fold a separate launch, but who knows. Especially like you said if it ends up being further delayed they might not have a choice but to release it at a stand-alone event.

That probably isn’t the phone. Phones typically go with UPS and FedEx gets accessories.
I didn't order any accesories. The box weighs 2.0 lbs, too heavy for the device return stuff, and the sender requested to hold for delivery until Friday.
I have received iPhones through Fedex before

A week isn't bad. I can't remember which year it was right now, but there was at least 1 recently where the gap was 2 weeks. So in that vein 1 week isn't bad!
