Other USA iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max & iPhone Duo Pre-order/Shipping/Delivery Thread [MERGED]

If I preorder an iPhone 18 PM via the Apple Store, can I pay for it fully on the app and then arrange to pick it up at an Apple Store on release day? I don't trust it being being delivered to where I live. Thanks for any info.

I am travelling to the USA from Australia on the 21st October, how likely would I be able to grab a Duo on release day in LA? Which store would be the best to go to? I am staying at Universal then heading to Vegas on the Saturday. I would love to be able to pre order on the US site however it looks like they won't accept foreign credit cards 🙁

LA stores can be busy, especially on launch day…if you mean you’re staying in Universal City, all the stores around there are very busy at times.

You might have better luck at Apple Stores in Vegas.

Sure! There is an option to pick it up at an Apple store when you preorder. You should get your preorder in early if you want it on release day.

I’m wondering the same thing, if I do the whole get ready for pre order and select trade in on pre order day will I have the option to pickup and trade in my phone in store?
 
I have awoken from my yearly slumber. But I'm skipping the iPhone upgrade this year. The first time I won't be upgrading it feels rather odd. To everyone, whichever model you get, I hope you get your pre-order at 8:01 and your launch day delivery! Have fun tracking those flights. But all you Duo buyers just remember you are beta testing this product, so share your issues and wtf moments with Apple so next year when I get the updated version, all the bugs will be fixed! I'll see everyone next year for the pre-order fun!

I'm waitning next year to get the Duo also. If someone has $2,000 to beta test for apple then more power them.
