If I preorder an iPhone 18 PM via the Apple Store, can I pay for it fully on the app and then arrange to pick it up at an Apple Store on release day? I don't trust it being being delivered to where I live. Thanks for any info.

That's what I do because my asswipe UPS guy won't come to the door for a signature. Should have a choice of delivery or pick-up when you place the order.

Just need to see what the Duo looks like in hand (closed) and how it'll fit in the pocket, and if I can put it in my butt pocket and sit on it, and if it'll have pinch-gate. If all good, I'll buy it day one.

I'm going with a Duo, but I will probably just ignore this thread until close to Octobre 16 - maybe there should be a Duo specific launch thread, since the launch date is month farther out.

Anyone in the US having issues trading in their AC replacement phones? UK version of this thread, Apple isn’t recognising AC replaced phones for the trade in, and people on Reddit having issues with other AC replaced devices; says their S/N isn’t valid so we can’t trade in - I have a 17 Pro which apparently can’t be traded in (the S/N for my original phone on the box is valid). Just wondering if it’s a widespread issue or just in the UK.

If this is an accurate sampling of the general population, seems I should have an easy time getting my 18 Pro, thinking burgundy, for my 17 Pro, given the duo seems to be the device of choice for so many. Works for me! Not even a little bit interested in or curious about the Duo. And I would really not be happy waiting until October 16th!

Ditto, 512GB as always. I already went through the get ready process, approved for the Klarna lease, went pretty smoothly. Hope pre-order day is as smooth.

I’m waiting until Saturday. I’ve read conflicting data on using my yearly upgrade benefit from T-Mobile at Apple directly, so I just do it at t-mobile. Unfortunately they don’t have the nice “get ready system” that Apple has.
